and he answered and said unto them, i will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

then said jesus unto them, i will ask you one thing; is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับเขาทั้งหลายว่า "เราจะถามท่านทั้งหลายว่า ในวันสะบาโตให้ถูกต้องตามพระราชบัญญัติควรจะทำการดีหรือทำการร้าย จะช่วยชีวิตดีหรือจะผลาญชีวิตดี

“o my people, i ask you no wage for it; my wage lies with him who originated me. do you not understand?”
โอ้กลุ่มชนของฉันเอ๋ย! ฉันมิได้ขอร้องต่อพวกท่านซึ่งรางวัลในการนี้เลย รางวัลของฉันนั้นอยู่กับพระผู้ให้บังเกิดฉัน พวกท่านไม่ใช้ปัญญาหรือ?

moses said, "if i ask you such questions again, abandon me; you will have enough reason to do so."
เขา(มูซา) กล่าวว่า “หากฉันถามสิ่งใดจากท่านหลังจากนี้ท่านอย่าคบฉันเป็นเพื่อร่วมทางอีกเลย แน่นอน ท่านมีข้อแก้ตัวจากฉันพอแล้ว”

he said, “if i ask you about anything after this, then do not keep company with me. you have received excuses from me.”
เขา(มูซา) กล่าวว่า “หากฉันถามสิ่งใดจากท่านหลังจากนี้ท่านอย่าคบฉันเป็นเพื่อร่วมทางอีกเลย แน่นอน ท่านมีข้อแก้ตัวจากฉันพอแล้ว”

"o my two companions of the prison! (i ask you): are many lords differing among themselves better, or the one allah, supreme and irresistible?
“โอ้ เพื่อนร่วมคุกทั้งสองของฉันเอ๋ย! พระเจ้าหลายองค์ดีกว่า หรือว่าอัลลอฮ์เอกองค์ผู้ทรงอนุภาพ

say, "whatever reward i ask you (for my preaching) will be for your own good. no one can reward me except god. he is the witness over all things."
จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด “ไม่มีรางวัลอันใดที่ฉันจะขอจากพวกท่าน เพราะมันเป็นของพวกท่าน แต่รางวัลของฉันอยู่ที่อัลลอฮฺ และพระองค์ทรงเป็นพยานต่อทุกสิ่ง”

he said: if i ask you about anything after this, keep me not in your company; indeed you shall have (then) found an excuse in my case.
เขา(มูซา) กล่าวว่า “หากฉันถามสิ่งใดจากท่านหลังจากนี้ท่านอย่าคบฉันเป็นเพื่อร่วมทางอีกเลย แน่นอน ท่านมีข้อแก้ตัวจากฉันพอแล้ว”

[musa (moses)] said: "if i ask you anything after this, keep me not in your company, you have received an excuse from me."
เขา(มูซา) กล่าวว่า “หากฉันถามสิ่งใดจากท่านหลังจากนี้ท่านอย่าคบฉันเป็นเพื่อร่วมทางอีกเลย แน่นอน ท่านมีข้อแก้ตัวจากฉันพอแล้ว”

"and o my people! i ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from none but allah: but i will not drive away (in contempt) those who believe: for verily they are to meet their lord, and ye i see are the ignorant ones!
และโอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย ! ฉันมิได้ร้องขอทรัพย์สินใดสำหรับการเยแพร่ แต่รางวัลของฉันอยู่ที่อัลลอฮ์ และฉันจะไม่เป็นผู้ขับไล่บรรดาผู้ศรัทธาดอก แท้จริงพวกเขาจะเป็นผู้พบพระเจ้าของพวกเขา แต่ฉันเห็นว่าพวกท่านเป็นหมู่ชนผู้งมงาย
