ขอทรงโปรดสอนข้าพระองค์ถึงสิ่งที่ข้าพระองค์มองไม่เห็น ถ้าข้าพระองค์กระทำความชั่วช้า ข้าพระองค์จะไม่กระทำอีก

พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ถ้าเราพบคนชอบธรรมในท่ามกลางเมืองโสโดมห้าสิบคน เราจะละเว้นทั้งเมืองเพราะเห็นแก่พวกเขา

while i live will i praise the lord: i will sing praises unto my god while i have any being.
ข้าพเจ้าจะสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ตราบเท่าที่ข้าพเจ้ามีชีวิตอยู่ ข้าพเจ้าจะร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้าขณะที่ข้าพเจ้ายังเป็นอยู

และคนอิสราเอลพูดกับกษัตริย์แห่งเอโดมว่า "เราจะขึ้นไปตามทางหลวง ถ้าเราดื่มน้ำของท่านไม่ว่าตัวเราหรือสัตว์ เราจะชำระเงินให้ ขอให้เราเดินผ่านไป เราไม่ต้องการอะไรอีก

เรียกเหยี่ยวมาจากตะวันออก คือเรียกชายที่ทำตามแผนงานของเราจากเมืองไกล เออ เราพูดแล้ว และเราจะให้เป็นไป เรามุ่งแล้ว และเราจะกระทำด้ว

and the lord said, i will remove judah also out of my sight, as i have removed israel, and will cast off this city jerusalem which i have chosen, and the house of which i said, my name shall be there.
และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เราจะให้ยูดาห์ออกเสียจากสายตาของเราด้วย ดังที่เราได้กระทำให้อิสราเอลออกเสีย และเราจะเหวี่ยงเมืองนี้ซึ่งเราได้เลือกออกไปเสีย คือเยรูซาเล็ม กับนิเวศซึ่งเราได้บอกว่า `นามของเราจะอยู่ที่นั่น'

if i have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and haman come to the banquet that i shall prepare for them, and i will do tomorrow as the king hath said.
ถ้าหม่อมฉันเป็นที่โปรดปรานในสายพระเนตรของกษัตริย์ และเป็นที่พอพระทัยกษัตริย์ที่จะประทานตามคำร้องขอของหม่อมฉัน และให้คำทูลขอของหม่อมฉันสำเร็จนี้ ขอกษัตริย์เสด็จมาพร้อมกับฮามานในการเลี้ยงซึ่งหม่อมฉันจะเตรียมไว้สำหรับเขาทั้งหลาย และพรุ่งนี้หม่อมฉันจะกระทำตามที่กษัตริย์ตรัสนั้น

say, ‘i have been forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides allah.’ say, ‘i do not follow your desires, for then i will have gone astray, and i will not be among the [rightly] guided.’
จงกล่าวเถิด(มุฮัมมัด)ว่าแท้จริงฉันถูกห้ามมิให้เคารพสักการะ บรรดาผู้ที่พวกท่านวิงวอนกันอยู่ อื่นจากอัลลอฮ์ จวงกล่าวเถิดฉันจะไม่ปฏิบัติตามความใคร่ใฝ่ต่ำของพวกเจ้า ถ้าเช่นนั้นแน่นอน ฉันก็ย่อมหลงผิดไปด้วย และฉันก็จะไม่ใช่เป็นคนหนึ่งในหมู่ผู้ได้รับคำแนะนำ

allah said: "i am going to send it down unto you, but if any of you after that disbelieves, then i will punish him with a torment such as i have not inflicted on anyone among (all) the 'alamin (mankind and jinns)."
อัลลอฮ์ตรัสว่า แท้จริงข้าจะให้มันลงมาแก่พวกเจ้า แล้วผู้ใดในหมู่พวกเจ้าปฏิเสธศรัทธาหลังจากนั้น แน่นอนข้าจะลงโทษเขา ซึ่งโทษที่ข้าจะไม่ลงโทษนั้นแก่ผู้ใดในหมู่ประชาชาติทั้งหลาย
