and he said, the lord will roar from zion, and utter his voice from jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of carmel shall wither.
ท่านกล่าวว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเปล่งพระสิงหนาทจากศิโยน และจะทรงเปล่งพระสุรเสียงของพระองค์จากเยรูซาเล็ม ลานหญ้าของผู้เลี้ยงแกะจะโศกเศร้า และยอดภูเขาคารเมลก็จะเหี่ยวไป

and now i have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in carmel.
ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินว่าท่านมีคนตัดขนแกะ ฝ่ายผู้เลี้ยงแกะของท่านนั้นอยู่กับเรา เรามิได้กระทำอันตรายเขาเลย และเขาก็มิได้ขาดอะไรไปตลอดเวลาที่เขาอยู่ในคารเม

and this man shall be the peace, when the assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

and when he arrived at the water of madyan (midian) he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). he said: "what is the matter with you?" they said: "we cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take (their flocks). and our father is a very old man."
และเมื่อเขามาพบบ่อน้ำแห่ง (เมือง) มัดยัน เขาได้พบฝูงชนกลุ่มหนึ่งกำลังตักน้ำ และนอกจากพวกเขาเหล่านั้น เขายังได้พบหญิงสองคนคอยห้าม (ฝูงแกะ) เขา (มูซา) กล่าวถามว่า “เรื่องราวของเธอทั้งสองเป็นมาอย่างไร ?” นางทั้งสองกล่าวว่า “เราไม่สามารถตักน้ำได้ จนกว่าคนเลี้ยงแกะเล่านั้นจะถอยออกไป และบิดาของเราก็เป็นคนแก่มากแล้ว”
