ተዓምርን ባዩም ጊዜ ለመሳለቅ ይጠራራሉ ፡ ፡

and if they see a miracle they turn aside and say : transient magic .
ተዓምርንም ቢያዩ ( ከእምነት ) ይዞራሉ ፡ ፡ ( ይህ ) « ዘውታሪ ድግምት ነውም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

and if they see a miracle , they turn away and say , " passing magic . "

they said to moses , " no matter what miracle you show to bewitch us , we will not believe you . "
( ለሙሳም ) « በማንኛይቱም ተዓምር በእርሷ ልትደግምብን ብትመጣብን እኛ ለአንተ የምናምንልህ አይደለንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

( even though ) each miracle that we showed them was greater than the other . so we seized them with chastisement so that they may turn back .
ከተዓምርም አንዲትንም አናሳያቸውም እርሷ ከብጤዋ በጣም የበለጠች ብትኾን እንጅ ፡ ፡ ( ከክህደታቸው ) ይመለሱም ዘንድ በቅጣት ያዝናቸው ፡ ፡

they say , " why a miracle is not sent to him from his lord . " say , " miracles are in the hands of god .
« በእርሱ ላይም ከጌታህ ዘንድ ተዓምራቶች ለምን አልተወረዱም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « ተዓምራቶች አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ ብቻ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and they say , “ why does he not bring us a miracle from his lord ? ” were they not given enough miracles in the former scriptures ?
« ከጌታውም በኾነ ተዓምር አይመጣንምን » አሉ በመጀመሪያዎቹ ጽሑፎች ውስጥ ያለችው ማስረጃ አልመጣቻቸውምን
