और वह उसमें हमेशा अपना किया भुगतता रहेगा और उसके लिए बड़ी रूसवाई का अज़ाब है और तुम्हारी औरतों में से जो औरतें बदकारी करें तो उनकी बदकारी पर अपने लोगों में से चार गवाही लो और फिर अगर चारों गवाह उसकी तसदीक़ करें तो उनको घरों में बन्द रखो यहॉ तक कि मौत आ जाए या ख़ुदा उनकी कोई राह निकाले

and when there comes to them news of security or fear they spread it abroad ; and if they had referred it to the apostle and to those in authority among them , those among them who can search out the knowledge of it would have known it , and were it not for the grace of allah upon you and his mercy , you would have certainly followed the shaitan save a few
और जब उनके पास अमन या ख़ौफ़ की ख़बर आयी तो उसे फ़ौरन मशहूर कर देते हैं हालॉकि अगर वह उसकी ख़बर को रसूल और ईमानदारो में से जो साहबाने हुकूमत तक पहुंचाते तो बेशक जो लोग उनमें से उसकी तहक़ीक़ करने वाले हैं उसको समझ लेते कि और अगर तुमपर ख़ुदा का फ़ज़ल और उसकी मेहरबानी न होती तो चन्द आदमियों के सिवा तुम सबके सब शैतान की पैरवी करने लगते

and when there comes to them information about security or fear , they spread it around . but if they had referred it back to the messenger or to those of authority among them , then the ones who draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it . and if not for the favor of allah upon you and his mercy , you would have followed satan , except for a few .
और जब उनके पास अमन या ख़ौफ़ की ख़बर आयी तो उसे फ़ौरन मशहूर कर देते हैं हालॉकि अगर वह उसकी ख़बर को रसूल और ईमानदारो में से जो साहबाने हुकूमत तक पहुंचाते तो बेशक जो लोग उनमें से उसकी तहक़ीक़ करने वाले हैं उसको समझ लेते कि और अगर तुमपर ख़ुदा का फ़ज़ल और उसकी मेहरबानी न होती तो चन्द आदमियों के सिवा तुम सबके सब शैतान की पैरवी करने लगते

eavesdropping for telling lies , earning through unlawful means ! so , if they come to you , judge between them or decline . and if you decline , they can do you no harm ; but if you judge , you should do so with justice , for god loves those who are just .
ये झूठी बातों को बड़े शौक़ से सुनने वाले और बड़े ही हरामख़ोर हैं तो अगर ये लोग तुम्हारे पास आए तो तुमको इख्तेयार है ख्वाह उनके दरमियान फैसला कर दो या उनसे किनाराकशी करो और अगर तुम किनाराकश रहोगे तो ये लोग तुम्हारा हरगिज़ कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते और अगर उनमें फैसला करो तो इन्साफ़ से फैसला करो क्योंकि ख़ुदा इन्साफ़ करने वालों को दोस्त रखता है
