alas, the woe for you!
ދެންވެސް ކަލެޔަށް ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ. ފަހެ، (ކަލެޔަށް) ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ.

alas the woe for you, alas!
ކަލެޔަށް ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ. ފަހެ، (ކަލެޔަށް) ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ.

and made sleep for you to rest,
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ނިދި، އަރާމެއް ކަމުގައި ލެއްވީމެވެ.

and exalted for you your esteem?
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަށްޓަކައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ނަންފުޅު މަތިވެރިކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

i am for you an honest messenger,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެންނީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ފޮނުއްވާފައިވާ أمانة ތެރި رسول އަކީމެވެ.

but as for you, and that you serve,
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަޅުކަންކުރާ ތަކެއްޗާ އެކުގައެވެ.

a provision for you and for your cattle.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ.

all this as provision for you and your cattle.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ.

allah has made the earth spread out for you
އަދި اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ފެތުރިގެންވާ ދޫލައެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ބިންގަނޑުލެއްވިއެވެ.

- that for you in it is whatever you like?
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެފޮތުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اختيار ކުރަން ބޭނުން ގޮތްތައް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟

indeed we have inaugurated for you a clear victory,
ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ فتح އަކުން، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް فتح ދެއްވީމެވެ.

[as] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ.

should i seek any god for you except allah? he has exalted you above the nations.
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މާތްކުރެއްވީ، އެކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވާ حال، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް إله އަކު ކަމުގައި اللَّه ނޫން އެހެންފަރާތެއް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އެދިވަޑައިގަންނަވަންވީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

say: lo! i control not hurt nor benefit for you.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެއްލުމެއް ދިނުމެއްވެސް، އަދި ތެދުމަގެއް ދެއްކުމެއްވެސް، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް މިލްކުވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

are the unbelievers among you any better than they? or is there immunity for you in the scriptures?
އެއުރެންނަށްވުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ كافر ން، ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑީހެއްޔެެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ ބާވައިލެއްވި ފޮތްތަކުގައި عذاب ން މިންޖުވުމެއް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

have we not expanded your chest for you (prophet muhammad),
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ކަލޭޭގެފާނަށްޓަކައި ތަނަވަސްކޮށް ނުދެއްވަންތޯއެވެ؟

did we not expand for you, [o muhammad], your breast?
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ކަލޭޭގެފާނަށްޓަކައި ތަނަވަސްކޮށް ނުދެއްވަންތޯއެވެ؟

the prophet is not supposed to take any captives to strengthen his position on the earth. you want worldly gains but god wants the life hereafter for you.
(ހަނގުރާމައިގެ) ބިމުގައި (عدوّ ންގެ މެދުގައި) قتل ގިނަވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން (އެބަހީ: مسلم ން ގަދަވެ قتل ވެވޭ عدوّ ންގެ عدد ގިނަވެ، ހަނގުރާމައަށް ނުކުޅެދިއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން) ހަނގުރާމައިގައި މީހުންހިފައި ހައްޔަރުކުރުމަކީ، އެއްވެސް ނަބިއްޔަކަށް އޮތްކަމެއްނޫނެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ މުދަލަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދެމުއެވެ. اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވަނީ، آخرة އެވެ. اللَّه އީ، عزيز ވަންތަ، حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

moses said: 'should i seek any god for you other than allah although it is he who has exalted you above all?'
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މާތްކުރެއްވީ، އެކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވާ حال، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް إله އަކު ކަމުގައި اللَّه ނޫން އެހެންފަރާތެއް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އެދިވަޑައިގަންނަވަންވީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

remember allah’s blessing upon you! is there any creator other than allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth?
އޭ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި نعمة ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! اللَّه މެނުވީ ތަކެތި ހައްދަވާ، އުޑާއި ބިމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް رزق ދެއްވާ ކަލަކު ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެކަލާނގެ މެނުވީ إله އަކު ނުވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (إيمان ކަމުން) އެއްކިބާވެގަންނަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟
