do not betray me
በሚቀሰቀሱበት ቀንም አታዋርደኝ ፡ ፡

and from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
ከዚያችም ሰዓት ጀምሮ አሳልፎ ሊሰጠው ምቹ ጊዜ ይሻ ነበር።

but if they intend to betray you , they have already betrayed god , and he has overpowered them . god is knowing and wise .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls ; for allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime :
ከእነዚያም ነፍሶቻቸውን ከሚበድሉት ላይ አትከራከር ፡ ፡ አላህ ከዳተኛ ኃጢአተኛ የኾነን ሰው አይወድምና ፡ ፡

but if they seek to betray you , they had betrayed allah before , but he has let you overcome them . allah is the knower , the wise .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

this ( i have done ) so that he will know i did not secretly betray him , and that allah does not guide the guile of the treacherous .
( ዩሱፍ ) « ይህ ( ጌታዬ ) ሩቅ ሆኖ ሳለ ያልከዳሁት መሆኔን አላህም የከዳተኞችን ተንኮል የማያቃና መሆኑን እንዲያውቅ ነው ፤ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

and if they would betray you , they betrayed god before , and he gave [ you ] power over them . god is aware and wise .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and if they would betray thee , they betrayed allah before , and he gave ( thee ) power over them . allah is knower , wise .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

said yusuf , “ i did this so that the governor may realise that i did not betray him behind his back , and allah does not let the deceit of betrayers be successful . ”
( ዩሱፍ ) « ይህ ( ጌታዬ ) ሩቅ ሆኖ ሳለ ያልከዳሁት መሆኔን አላህም የከዳተኞችን ተንኮል የማያቃና መሆኑን እንዲያውቅ ነው ፤ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

but if they intend to betray you - then they have already betrayed allah before , and he empowered [ you ] over them . and allah is knowing and wise .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

but if they intend to betray you ( o muhammad saw ) , they have already betrayed allah before . so he gave ( you ) power over them .
ሊከዱህም ቢፈልጉ ከዚህ በፊት አላህን በእርግጥ ከድተዋል ፡ ፡ ከነሱም አስመችቶሃል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

" from this , " said joseph , " [ the nobleman ] should know that i did not betray him in his absence , and that god does not guide the plotting of the treacherous .
( ዩሱፍ ) « ይህ ( ጌታዬ ) ሩቅ ሆኖ ሳለ ያልከዳሁት መሆኔን አላህም የከዳተኞችን ተንኮል የማያቃና መሆኑን እንዲያውቅ ነው ፤ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡
