ولكن ان لم تفعلوا هكذا فانكم تخطئون الى الرب. وتعلمون خطيتكم التي تصيبكم.
but if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.

قال لهم يسوع ايضا انا امضي وستطلبونني وتموتون في خطيتكم. حيث امضي انا لا تقدرون انتم ان تأتوا.
then said jesus again unto them, i go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither i go, ye cannot come.

وكان في الغد ان موسى قال للشعب انتم قد اخطأتم خطية عظيمة. فاصعد الآن الى الرب لعلي اكفّر خطيتكم.
and it came to pass on the morrow, that moses said unto the people, ye have sinned a great sin: and now i will go up unto the lord; peradventure i shall make an atonement for your sin.

واما خطيتكم العجل الذي صنعتموه فأخذته واحرقته بالنار ورضضته وطحنته جيدا حتى نعم كالغبار. ثم طرحت غباره في النهر المنحدر من الجبل
and i took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and i cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
