je cherchais un titre et soudainement, l'idée m'est venue d'employer une phrase que les francophones entendent souvent lorsqu'ils tentent d'obtenir des services en français : « sorry, i don't speak french ».
and i was groping for a title and suddenly the idea came to me that i would use that phrase that francophones so often hear when they try to get service in french, which is "sorry, i don't speak french."

m. fraser est l'auteur de sorry i don't speak french, ouvrage publié en mars 2006 et qui a contribué à stimuler le renouvellement du débat public sur les politiques linguistiques au canada. il est aussi l'auteur du livre le parti québécois, qui traite de la politique linguistique du québec et qui a été sélectionné pour le prix littéraire du gouverneur général pour études et essais en 1984.
