the messengers will say , " lord , my people had abandoned this quran . "
መልክተኛውም « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ሕዝቦቼ ይህንን ቁርኣን የተተወ ነገር አድርገው ያዙት » አለ ፡ ፡

and the messenger will say , “ my lord , my people have abandoned this quran . ”
መልክተኛውም « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ሕዝቦቼ ይህንን ቁርኣን የተተወ ነገር አድርገው ያዙት » አለ ፡ ፡

they are verily those who exceeded themselves , and the ( gods ) they invented abandoned them .
እነዚያ እነርሱ ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ከእነሱም ይቀጣጥፉት የነበሩት ነገር የጠፋቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡

how many a village we have destroyed in its harmdoing , so that it lies fallen upon its turrets , and how many an abandoned well , and empty palace !
ከከተማም እርሷ በደለኛ ሆና ያጠፋናትና እርሷ በጣሪያዎቿ ላይ ወዳቂ የሆነችው ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡ ከተራቆተችም የውሃ ጉድጓድ ከተገነባም ሕንፃ ( ያጠፋነው ብዙ ነው ) ፡ ፡

how many a habitation given to wickedness have we destroyed , whose roofs tumbled down , which fell into ruins . how many a well and fortress reinforced lie abandoned !

( muhammad ) , your lord has not abandoned you ( by not sending you his revelation ) , nor is he displeased with you .

መልክተኛውም « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ሕዝቦቼ ይህንን ቁርኣን የተተወ ነገር አድርገው ያዙት » አለ ፡ ፡

those who accepted the faith and abandoned their homes , and struggled in the cause of god , and those who gave them shelter and helped them , are veritably true believers . for them is forgiveness and noble sustenance .
እነዚያም ያመኑና የተሰደዱ በአላህም መንገድ ላይ የታገሉ ፣ እነዚያም ያስጠጉና የረዱ እነዚያ እነሱ በእውነት አማኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ምሕረትና የከበረ ሲሳይ አላቸው ፡ ፡

and the messenger has said , " o my lord , indeed my people have taken this qur 'an as [ a thing ] abandoned . "
