ጥፋትና ጉስቁልና በመንገዳቸው ይገኛል፥

nearer to you ( is destruction ) and nearer ,
የምትጠላውን ነገር ( አላህ ) ያስከትልህ ፡ ፡ ለአንተ ተገቢህም ነው ፡ ፡

what they are engaged in is doomed to destruction and all their works are in vain . "
« እነዚህ እነርሱ በውስጡ ያሉበት ነገር ጠፊ ነው ፡ ፡ ይሰሩት የነበሩትም ብልሹ ነው » ( አላቸው ) ፤

the way these people follow is bound to lead to destruction ; and all their works are vain .
« እነዚህ እነርሱ በውስጡ ያሉበት ነገር ጠፊ ነው ፡ ፡ ይሰሩት የነበሩትም ብልሹ ነው » ( አላቸው ) ፤

and ( as for ) those who disbelieve , for them is destruction and he has made their deeds ineffective .
እነዚያም የካዱት ለእነርሱ ጥፋት ተገባቸው ፡ ፡ ሥራዎቻቸውንም አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡

your destruction and suffering is extremely grievous to him . he really cares about you and is very compassionate and merciful to the believers .
ከጎሳችሁ የሆነ ችግራችሁ በእርሱ ላይ ጽኑ የሆነ ፣ በእናንተ ( እምነት ) ላይ የሚጓጓ ፣ በምእምናን ( ላይ ) ርኅሩኅ አዛኝ የኾነ መልክተኛ በእርግጥ መጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

when we decide to destroy a town we warn the rich ones therein who commit evil . thus it becomes deserving to destruction and we destroy its very foundations .
ከተማንም ለማጥፋት በፈለግን ጊዜ ባለ ጸጋዎችዋን እናዛለን ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ያምጻሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ቃሉ ( ቅጣቱ ) ይፈጸምባታል ፡ ፡ ማጥፋትንም እናጠፋታለን ፡ ፡

and that thought of yours which you thought about your lord , has brought you to destruction , and you have become ( this day ) of those utterly lost !
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

spend in the way of allah , and do not cast yourselves with your own hands into destruction ; and be virtuous . indeed allah loves the virtuous .
በአላህም መንገድ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ በእጆቻችሁም ( ነፍሶቻችሁን ) ወደ ጥፋት አትጣሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፤ አላህ በጎ ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

have they not travelled through the land and seen the terrible end of those who lived before them ? god brought upon them utter destruction and the disbelievers will also faced similar perdition .
የእነዚያ ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት ( ከሓዲዎች ) መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ያዩ ዘንድ በምድር ለይ አልኼዱምን ? አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ ( ያላቸውን ሁሉ ) አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡ ለከሐዲዎችም ሁሉ ብጤዎችዋ አልሏቸው ፡ ፡

and now that you have dissociated yourselves from them and from whatever they worship beside allah , go and seek refuge in the cave . your lord will extend his mercy to you and will provide for you the means for the disposal of your affairs . "
« እነርሱንና ያንን ከአላህ ሌላ የሚግገዙትን በተለያችሁ ጊዜ ወደ ዋሻው ተጠጉ ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁ ለእናንተ ከችሮታው ይዘረጋላችኋልና ፤ ከነገራችሁም ለእናንተ መጠቃቀሚያን ያዘጋጅላችኋል » ( ተባባሉ ) ፡ ፡

" but this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your lord , hath brought you to destruction , and ( now ) have ye become of those utterly lost ! "
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

but these thoughts which you entertained concerning your lord , have brought you to destruction , and [ now ] you are among the utterly lost ! "
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

but those who disbelieve ( in the oneness of allah islamic monotheism ) , for them is destruction , and ( allah ) will make their deeds vain .
እነዚያም የካዱት ለእነርሱ ጥፋት ተገባቸው ፡ ፡ ሥራዎቻቸውንም አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡

then we sent our messengers in succession . every time there came to a nation its messenger , they denied him , so we made them follow one another [ to destruction ] , and we made them narrations .
ከዚያም መልክተኞቻችንን የሚከታተሉ ኾነው ላክን ፡ ፡ ማንኛይቱንም ሕዝብ መልክተኛዋ በመጣላት ቁጥር አስተባበሉት ፡ ፡ ከፊላቸውንም በከፊሉ ( በጥፋት ) አስከታተለን ፡ ፡ ወሬዎችም አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡ ለማያምኑም ሕዝቦች ( ከእዝነታችን ) መራቅ ተገባቸው ፡ ፡

and likewise , to many of the polytheists their partners have made [ to seem ] pleasing the killing of their children in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion . and if allah had willed , they would not have done so .
እንደዚሁም ከአጋሪዎቹ ለብዙዎቹ ፤ ተጋሪዎቻቸው ሊያጠፉዋቸው ሃይማኖ ታቸውንም በእነሱ ላይ ሊያቀላቅሉባቸው ( ሊያመሳስሉባቸው ) ልጆቻቸውን መግደልን አሳመሩላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ ባልሠሩት ነበር ፡ ፡ ከቅጥፈታቸውም ጋር ተዋቸው ፡ ፡
