they found their fathers erring ,
እነሱ አባቶቻቸውን የተሳሳቱ ሆነው አግኝተዋልና ፡ ፡

then you , the erring and the deniers ,
« ከዚያም እናንተ ጠማሞች አስተባባዮች ሆይ !

as for poets , the erring follow them .
ባለ ቅኔዎችንም ጠማማዎቹ ይከተሉዋቸዋል ፡ ፡

and hell will appear plainly to the erring .
ገሀነምም ለጠመሞች በምትገለጽበት ( ቀን ) ፡ ፡

and if he be of the beliers , the erring ,
ከሚያስዋሹት ጠማማዎችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

የሳትክም ኾነህ አገኘህ መራህም ፡ ፡

then verily ye , o ye erring , denying people .
« ከዚያም እናንተ ጠማሞች አስተባባዮች ሆይ !

and if he is one of the rejecters , the erring ones ,
ከሚያስዋሹት ጠማማዎችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

and the hell shall be made manifest to the erring ones ,
ገሀነምም ለጠመሞች በምትገለጽበት ( ቀን ) ፡ ፡

and forgive my father , verily he is of the erring ;
ለአባቴም ማር ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከተሳሳቱት ነበረና ፡ ፡

our misfortune prevailed over us . we were indeed an erring people .
ይላሉ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ መናጢነታችን አሸነፈችን ፡ ፡ ጠማማዎችም ሕዝቦች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and the ( hell ) fire will be placed in full view of the erring .
ገሀነምም ለጠመሞች በምትገለጽበት ( ቀን ) ፡ ፡

and you have no authority over my servants except the erring ones who follow you .
« እነሆ ባሮቼ በእነሱ ላይ ላንተ ስልጣን የለህም ፡ ፡ ከጠማሞቹ የተከተለህ ሰው ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ »

he said : and who despairs of the mercy of his lord but the erring ones ?
« ከጠማማዎችም በስተቀር ከጌታው እዝነት ተስፋን የሚቆርጥ ማነው » አለ ፡ ፡

' lord ' they will reply , ' adversity prevailed over us and we were erring .
ይላሉ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ መናጢነታችን አሸነፈችን ፡ ፡ ጠማማዎችም ሕዝቦች ነበርን ፡ ፡

plead [ with allah ] for forgiveness of our sins ! we have indeed been erring . ’
« አባታችን ሆይ ! ለኀጢአቶቻችን ምሕረትን ለምንልን እኛ ጥፋተኞች ነበርንና » አሉ ፡ ፡

and when they saw the believers , they said : “ lo ! these are the erring ones ” ;
ባዩዋቸውም ጊዜ « እነዚህ በእርግጥ ተሳሳቾች ናቸው » ይሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

" then moreover , verily , you the erring-ones , the deniers ( of resurrection ) !
« ከዚያም እናንተ ጠማሞች አስተባባዮች ሆይ !

over my true servants you will be able to exercise no power , your power will be confined to the erring ones , those who choose to follow you .
« እነሆ ባሮቼ በእነሱ ላይ ላንተ ስልጣን የለህም ፡ ፡ ከጠማሞቹ የተከተለህ ሰው ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ »

then when ye hurry from arafat , remember allah near the sacred monument . remember him as he hath guided you , and ye were afore of the erring .
( በሐጅ ጊዜ በንግድ ሥራ ) ከጌታችሁ ትርፍን በመፈለጋችሁ በናንተ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ ከዐረፋትም በጎረፋችሁ ጊዜ መሸዐረልሐራም ዘንድ አላህን አውሱ ፡ ፡ ( ለሐጅ ) ስለመራችሁም አውሱት ፡ ፡ ከመምራቱ በፊትም በእርግጥ ከተሳሳቾች ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡
