ከአትክልቶችና ከምንጮችም ብዙ ነገሮችን ተዉ ፡ ፡

they ask you about dhu 'l-qarnain .
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

they ask you concerning the hour , “ when will it set in ,
« ከሰዓቲቱ መቼ ነው መኾኛዋ ? » ሲሉ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡

and they ask you about zulqarnain . say : i will recite to you an account of him .
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

they ask you about the hour : “ when will it be ? ”
« ከሰዓቲቱ መቼ ነው መኾኛዋ ? » ሲሉ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡

the worldly life is only a childish game . if you have faith and piety , you will receive your rewards and god will not ask you to pay for them .
ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ጫወታና ዛዛታ ብቻ ናት ፡ ፡ ብታምኑም ብትጠነቀቁም ምንዳዎቻችሁን ይሰጣችኋል ፡ ፡ ገንዘቦቻችሁንም ( ሁሉ ) አይጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡

they ask you about the mountains . say , " my lord will scatter them as dust
ከጋራዎችም ይጠይቁሃል ፤ በላቸው « ጌታዬ መበተንን ይበትናቸዋል ፡ ፡

and they ask you regarding zul-qarnain ; say , “ i shall recite his story to you . ”
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , they ask you , " when will the hour of doom come ? "
« ከሰዓቲቱ መቼ ነው መኾኛዋ ? » ሲሉ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡

and they ask you about the mountains . say : my lord will carry them away from the roots .
ከጋራዎችም ይጠይቁሃል ፤ በላቸው « ጌታዬ መበተንን ይበትናቸዋል ፡ ፡

although they have benefits for men , the sin therein is far greater than the benefit . they ask you about what they should give for the cause of god .
አእምሮን ከሚቃወም መጠጥና ከቁማር ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በሁለቱም ውስጥ ታላቅ ኃጢኣትና ለሰዎች ጥቅሞች አሉባቸው ፡ ፡ ግን ኃጢኣታቸው ከጥቅማቸው በጣም ትልቅ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ምንን እንደሚመጸውቱም ( መጠኑን ) ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ትርፍን ( መጽውቱ ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ታስተነትኑ ዘንድ አላህ ለናንተ አንቀጾችን ይገልጽላችኋል ፡ ፡

enjoin on your people service to god , and be yourself constant in it . we do not ask you to provide : it is we who provide for you .
ቤተሰብህንም በስግደት እዘዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ዘውትር ፤ ( ጽና ) ፡ ፡ ሲሳይን አንጠይቅህም ፡ ፡ እኛ እንሰጥሃለን ፡ ፡ መልካሚቱ መጨረሻም ለጥንቁቆቹ ናት ፡ ፡

" and o my people ! how ( strange ) it is for me to call you to salvation while ye call me to the fire !
« ወገኖቼም ሆይ ! ወደ መዳን የምጠራችሁ ስኾን ወደ እሳትም የምትጠሩኝ ስትኾኑ ለኔ ምን አለኝ !

and they ask you about zul-qarnain . say , “ i will tell you something about him . ”
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and they ask you about the spirit . say , “ the spirit belongs to the domain of my lord ; and you were given only little knowledge . ”
ከሩሕም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ሩሕ ከጌታዬ ነገር ነው ከዕውቀትም ጥቂትን እንጂ አልተሰጣችሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , they ask you about the different phases of the moon . tell them that they are there to indicate to people the phases of time and the pilgrimage season .
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) ከለጋ ጨረቃዎች ( መለዋወጥ ) ይጠየቁሃል ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ለሰዎች ጥቅም ለሐጅም ( ማወቂያ ) ጊዜያቶች ( ምልክቶች ) ናቸው በላቸው ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራም ቤቶችን ከጀርባዎቻቸው በመምጣታችሁ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ግን የመልካም ሥራ ባለቤት የተጠነቀቀ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ ቤቶችንም ከደጃፎቻቸው በኩል ግቡ ፤ አላህንም ፍሩ ልትድኑ ይከጀላልና ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and they ask you , [ o muhammad ] , about dhul-qarnayn . say , " i will recite to you about him a report . "
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and they ask you for the punishment – they are impatient – and allah will not make his promise untrue ; and indeed a single day before allah is like a thousand years in your calculation .
አላህም ቀጠሮውን በፍጹም የማይጥስ ሲሆን በቅጣት ያቻኩሉሃል ፡ ፡ እጌታህም ዘንድ አንዱ ቀን ከምትቆጥሩት ( ቀን ) እንደ ሺሕ ዓመት ነው ፡ ፡

and they ask you to hasten on the chastisement ; and had not a term been appointed , the chastisement would certainly have come to them ; and most certainly it will come to them all of a sudden while they will not perceive .
በቅጣትም ያስቸኩሉሃል ፡ ፡ የተወሰነም ጊዜ ባልነበረ ኖሮ ቅጣቱ በመጣባቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ የማያውቁ ሲኾኑም በድንገት በእርግጥ ይመጣባቸዋል ፡ ፡

say , ‘ there is a great sin in both of them , and some profits for the people , but their sinfulness outweighs their profit . ’ and they ask you as to what they should spend .
አእምሮን ከሚቃወም መጠጥና ከቁማር ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በሁለቱም ውስጥ ታላቅ ኃጢኣትና ለሰዎች ጥቅሞች አሉባቸው ፡ ፡ ግን ኃጢኣታቸው ከጥቅማቸው በጣም ትልቅ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ምንን እንደሚመጸውቱም ( መጠኑን ) ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ትርፍን ( መጽውቱ ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ታስተነትኑ ዘንድ አላህ ለናንተ አንቀጾችን ይገልጽላችኋል ፡ ፡
