ዙሪያ ጥምጥም አልሽከረከርም፡፡

i will not drive away the believers .
« እኔም አማኞችን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

“ and i will not repel the muslims . ”
« እኔም አማኞችን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

and be thou patient ; god will not leave to waste the wage of the good-doers .
ታገስም ፤ አላህ የበጎ ሠሪዎችን ምንዳ አያጠፋምና ፡ ፡

they will want to leave the fire , but they will not leave it . for them is a lasting punishment .
ከእሳት ሊወጡ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ከርስዋ ወጪዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ዘውታሪ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

are you confident that the one in heaven will not cause the earth to collapse beneath you as it spins ?
በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን ( ሰራዊት ) በእናንተ ምድርን ቢደረባባችሁ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምታረገርግ ብትኾን ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? )

and i will not drive those away who believe . they have also to meet their lord .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በርሱ ( በተላክሁበት ማድረስ ) ላይ ገንዘብን አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ምንዳዬ በአላህ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም እነዚያን ያመኑትን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን የሚገናኙ ናቸውና ፡ ፡ ግን እኔም የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

but lo , he is god , my lord , and i will not associate with my lord any one .
« እኔ ግን እርሱ አላህ ጌታዬ ነው ፤ ( እላለሁ ) ፡ ፡ በጌታዬም አንድንም አላጋራም ፡ ፡

moses said , " god willing , you will find me patient , and i will not disobey you in any thing . "
( ሙሳ ) « አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ታጋሽና ላንተ ትዕዛዝን የማልጥስ ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

and if i intend to give you good advice , my advice will not profit you if allah intended that he should leave you to go astray ; he is your lord , and to him shall you be returned .
« ለእናንተም ልመክራችሁ ብሻ አላህ ሊያጠማችሁ ሽቶ እንደ ኾነ ምክሬ አይጠቅማችሁም ፡ ፡ እርሱ ጌታችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደ እርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

he said , ‘ you will find me , god willing , to be patient , and i will not disobey you in any matter . ’
( ሙሳ ) « አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ታጋሽና ላንተ ትዕዛዝን የማልጥስ ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

god will not leave the believers as you are , without distinguishing the wicked from the sincere . nor will god inform you of the future , but god elects from among his messengers whom he wills .
አላህ መጥፎውን ከመልካሙ እስከሚለይ ድረስ ምእምናንን እናንተ በርሱ ላይ ባላችሁበት ( ኹኔታ ) ላይ የሚተው አይደለም ፡ ፡ አላህም ሩቁን ነገር የሚያሳውቃችሁ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከመልክተኞቹ የሚሻውን ይመርጣል ፡ ፡ በአላህና በመልክተኞቹም እመኑ ፡ ፡ ብታምኑና ብትጠነቀቁም ለናንተ ታላቅ ምንዳ አላችሁ ፡ ፡

“ if you extend your hand to kill me , i will not extend my hand to kill you ; for i fear god , lord of the worlds . ”
« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

" you will find me patient if god wills , " said moses ; " and i will not disobey you in any thing . "
( ሙሳ ) « አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ታጋሽና ላንተ ትዕዛዝን የማልጥስ ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

and when musa said to his servant : i will not cease until i reach the junction of the two rivers or i will go on for years .
ሙሳም ለወጣቱ « የሁለቱን ባሕሮች መገናኛ እስከምደርስ ወይም ብዙን ጊዜ እስከምኼድ ድረስ ( ከመጓዝ ) አልወገድም » ያለውን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

said moosa , “ allah willing , you will soon find me patient and i will not do anything against your instructions . ”
( ሙሳ ) « አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ታጋሽና ላንተ ትዕዛዝን የማልጥስ ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

and i will leave you and those you invoke other than allah and will invoke my lord . i expect that i will not be in invocation to my lord unhappy . "
« እናንተንም ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዙትንም እርቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬንም እግገዛለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬን በመገዛት የማፍር አለመኾኔን እከጅላለሁ ፡ ፡ »

then i will come at them from their front and from their rear , and from their right and their left , and you will not find most of them to be grateful . ’
« ከዚያም ከስተፊቶቻቸው ከኋላቸውም ከቀኞቻቸውም ከግራዎቻቸውም በእርግጥ እመጣባቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውንም አመስጋኞች ኾነው አታገኛቸውም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

[ moses ] said , " you will find me , if allah wills , patient , and i will not disobey you in [ any ] order . "
( ሙሳ ) « አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ታጋሽና ላንተ ትዕዛዝን የማልጥስ ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now , until he distinguishes the wicked from the good . nor will allah disclose to you the secrets of the ghaib ( unseen ) , but allah chooses of his messengers whom he pleases .
