እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ብዙ ማውሳትን አውሱት ፡ ፡

this is what you were promised -- this is for everyone who often turned to god and kept him in mind ,
« ይህ ወደ አላህ ተመላሽና ( ሕግጋቱን ) ጠባቂ ለኾነ ሁሉ የተቀጠራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

believers , stand firm when you meet a band of your enemy and remember god often so that you may have everlasting happiness .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ሰራዊትን በገጠማችሁ ጊዜ እርጉ ፤ ( መክቱ ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም በብዙ አውሱ ፤ በእርግጥ ትድናላችሁና ፡ ፡

drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
ስለ ሆድህና ስለ በሽታህ ብዛት ጥቂት የወይን ጠጅ ጠጣ እንጂ፥ ወደ ፊት ውኃ ብቻ አትጠጣ።

the messenger of god is certainly a good example for those of you who have hope in god and in the day of judgment and who remember god very often .
ለእናንተ አላህንና የመጨረሻውን ቀን የሚከጅል ለሆነ ሰው ፣ አላህንም በብዙ ለሚያወሳ በአላህ መልዕክተኛ መልካም መከተል አልላችሁ ፡ ፡

and when the prayer has been concluded , disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of allah , and remember allah often that you may succeed .
ሶለቲቱም በተፈጸመች ጊዜ በምድር ላይ ተበተኑ ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ችሮታ ፈልጉ ፡ ፡ አላህንም በብዙ አውሱ ፡ ፡ ልትድኑ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

as often as they try to escape from its anguish they would be put back into ( the fire ) , and taste the torment of burning .
ከጭንቀት ብርታት የተነሳ ከእርሷ ለመውጣት በፈለጉ ቁጥር ከእርሷ ውስጥ እንዲመለሱ ይደረጋሉ ፡ ፡ « በጣም የሚያቃጥልንም ቅጣት ቅመሱ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

so often as they are returned to hostility they are plunged therein . if they keep not aloof from you nor offer you peace nor hold their hands , then take them and kill them wherever ye find them .
ሌሎች ከእናንተ ለመዳን ከወገኖቻቸውም ለመዳን የሚፈልጉን ታገኛላችሁ ፡ ፡ ወደ እውከት እንዲመለሱ በተጠሩ ቁጥር በርሷ ውስጥ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡ ባይተውዋችሁና እርቅንም ባያቀርቡላችሁ ፣ እጆቻቸውንም ባይሰበስቡ ፣ ባገኛችኋቸው ስፍራ ማርኩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ግደሉዋቸውም ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም ለእናንተ በነሱ ላይ ግልጽ ማስረጃን አድርገናል ፡ ፡

as often as it flasheth forth for them they walk therein , and when it darkeneth against them they stand still . if allah willed , he could destroy their hearing and their sight .
ብልጭታው ዓይኖቻቸውን ሊነጥቅ ይቀርባል ፡ ፡ ለነርሱ ባበራላቸው ቁጥር በርሱ ውስጥ ይኼዳሉ ፡ ፡ በነሱም ላይ ባጨለመ ጊዜ ይቆማሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ መስሚያቸውንና ማያዎቻቸውን በወሰደ ነበር ፤ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነውና ፡ ፡

barring those who have faith , do righteous deeds , and remember allah much often , and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged . and the wrongdoers will soon know at what goal they will end up .
እነዚያ ያመኑና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩ አላህንም በብዛት ያወሱ ከተበደሉም በኋላ ( በቅኔ ) የተከላከሉ ሲቀሩ ፤ ( እነርሱ አይወቀሱም ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የበደሉ ( ከሞቱ በኋላ ) እንዴት ያለን መመለስ እንደሚመለሱ በእርግጥ ያውቃሉ ፡ ፡

as often as their skins are roasted through , we shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment . truly , allah is ever most powerful , all-wise .
እነዚያን በተአምራታችን የካዱትን በእርግጥ እሳትን እናገባቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ስቃይን እንዲቀምሱ ቆዳዎቻቸው በተቃጠሉ ቁጥር ሌሎችን ቆዳዎች እንለውጥላቸዋለን ፡ ፡ አላህ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

and we have certainly given you , [ o muhammad ] , seven of the often repeated [ verses ] and the great qur 'an .
