sport brings people together.
ስፖርት ሕዝቦችን አንድ ያደርጋቸዋል፡፡

nay , they are in doubt , they sport .
በእውነቱ እነርሱ የሚጫወቱ ሲኾኑ በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

those who in wading sport themselves .
ለእነዚያ እነርሱ በውሸት ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ለኾኑት ፡ ፡

ዓሳ ማጥመድ ይወዳሉ?

those who sport entering into vain discourses .
ለእነዚያ እነርሱ በውሸት ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ለኾኑት ፡ ፡

ወደ ሶላትም በጠራችሁ ጊዜ ( ጥሪይቱን ) መሳለቂያና መጫወቻ አድርገው ይይዟታል ፡ ፡ ይህ እነርሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

the life of this world is but a sport and a pastime . surely the home of the hereafter is best for those who fear god .
የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ጨዋታና ላግጣ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር ( ገነት ) ለእነዚያ ለሚጠነቀቁት በጣም በላጭ ናት ፡ ፡ አታውቁምን

and when you call for prayer , they take it for a mockery and sport . that is because they are a people who do not understand .
ወደ ሶላትም በጠራችሁ ጊዜ ( ጥሪይቱን ) መሳለቂያና መጫወቻ አድርገው ይይዟታል ፡ ፡ ይህ እነርሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

and when you call to prayer , take it in mockery and as a sport ; that is because they are a people who have no understanding .
ወደ ሶላትም በጠራችሁ ጊዜ ( ጥሪይቱን ) መሳለቂያና መጫወቻ አድርገው ይይዟታል ፡ ፡ ይህ እነርሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

had we intended that we should choose a sport , surely we would choose it from before us--if we were ever going to do that .
መጫወቻን ( ሚስትና ልጅን ) ልንይዝ በሻን ኖሮ ከእኛ ዘንድ በያዝነው ነበር ፡ ፡ ( ግን ) ሠሪዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

and naught is the life of world but a play and a sport , and surely the abode of the hereafter is better for those who fear . reflect then ye not ?
የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ጨዋታና ላግጣ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር ( ገነት ) ለእነዚያ ለሚጠነቀቁት በጣም በላጭ ናት ፡ ፡ አታውቁምን

and this life of the world is but : sport and play . verily the home of the hereafter--that is life indeed , if they but knew !
ይህችም የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መታለያና ጨዋታ እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር እርሷ በእርግጥ የዘላለም ሕይወት አገር ናት ፡ ፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ ፤ ( ጠፊይቱን ሕይወት አይመርጡም ነበር ) ፡ ፡

and this life of the world is nothing but a sport and a play ; and as for the next abode , that most surely is the life-- did they but know !
ይህችም የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መታለያና ጨዋታ እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር እርሷ በእርግጥ የዘላለም ሕይወት አገር ናት ፡ ፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ ፤ ( ጠፊይቱን ሕይወት አይመርጡም ነበር ) ፡ ፡

do not befriend those who take your religion in mockery and as a sport , be they from among those who were given the scripture before you , or the disbelievers . and obey god , if you are believers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከእነዚያ ከበፊታችሁ መጽሐፍን ከተሰጡት እነዚያን ሃይማኖታችሁን ማላገጫና መጫወቻ አድርገው የያዙትን ከሓዲዎችንም ረዳቶች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ምእምናንም እንደኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡
