የምትጠላውን ነገር ( አላህ ) ያስከትልህ ፡ ፡ ለአንተ ተገቢህም ነው ፡ ፡

unto a mighty day
በታላቁ ቀን ፡ ፡

ah , woe unto worshippers
ወዮላቸው ለሰጋጆች ፡ ፡

woe unto the defrauders :
ለሰላቢዎች ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡

as a warning unto men ,
ለሰዎች አስፈራሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

a warning unto humankind -
ለሰዎች አስፈራሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

again , woe unto thee , woe !
ከዚያም ጥፋት ይጠጋህ ለአንተ የተገባህም ነው ፡ ፡

and be patient unto thy lord .
ለጌታህም ( ትዕዛዝ ) ታገሥ ፡ ፡

and unto thine lord , attend .
ወደ ጌታህም ብቻ ከጅል ፡ ፡

like unto pearls well-guarded .
ልክ እንደተሸፈነ ሉል መሰሎች የኾኑ ፡ ፡

unto you yaweh, i find strength
i beg you to give me an abundance of wealth

did we not assign unto him two eyes
ለእርሱ ሁለት ዓይኖችን አላደረግንለትምን ?

and there is none comparable unto him .
« ለእርሱም አንድም ብጤ የለውም ፡ ፡ »

and shown unto him the two highways ?
ሁለትን መንገዶችም አልመራነውምን ?

but as a reminder unto him who feareth ,
ግን አላህን ለሚፈራ ሰው መገሰጫ ይኾን ዘንድ ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡

depart unto the shadow three branched :
« ባለ ሦስት ቅርንጫፎች ወደ ኾነው ጥላ አዝግሙ ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and lo ! i have called unto them aloud ,
« ከዚያም እኔ በጩኸት ጠራኋቸው ፡ ፡

and he shall return unto his people joyfully .
ወደ ቤተሰቦቹም ተደሳች ኾኖ ይመለሳል ፡ ፡

and when ye seize , ye seize like unto tyrants .
« በቀጣችሁም ጊዜ ጨካኞች ኾናችሁ ትቀጣላችሁን

when we inspired unto thy mother that which we inspired ,
« ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ፡ ፡
