Իսկ նրանք, որ սերմանուեցին փշերի մէջ, այն մարդիկ են, որ լսում են խօսքը,

but he said, yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of god, and keep it.
Եւ նա ասաց. «Մանաւանդ երանի՜ է նրանց, որ լսում են Աստծու խօսքը եւ կը պահեն»:

blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
- Երանի՜ նրանց, որ քաղցն ու ծարաւն ունեն արդարութեան, որովհետեւ նրանք պիտի յագենան:

and his sisters, are they not all with us? whence then hath this man all these things?
Եւ սրա քոյրերը բոլորը մեզ մօտ չե՞ն. եւ արդ, որտեղի՞ց է սրան այս բոլորը»:

blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Երանի՜ նրանց, որ հալածւում են արդարութեան համար, որովհետեւ նրանցն է երկնքի արքայութիւնը:

Քննեցէ՛ք Գրքերը, քանի որ կարծում էք, թէ նրանցով յաւիտենական կեանք կ՚ունենաք: Բայց այդ Գրքերն իսկ վկայում են իմ մասին, որովհետեւ դուք կարծում էք, թէ յաւիտենական կեանք ունէք:

Աղջիկը դուրս գնալով իր մօրն ասաց՝ ի՞նչ ուզեմ: Եւ սա ասաց՝ Յովհաննէս Մկրտչի գլուխը:

«Այստեղ մի պատանի կայ, որ հինգ գարեհաց ունի եւ երկու ձուկ. բայց այդքանն ի՞նչ է այսչափ մարդկանց համար»:

Ապառաժի վրայ սերմանուածները այն մարդիկ են, որ, երբ լսում են խօսքը, իսկոյն ուրախութեամբ ընդունում են այն,

but that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Իսկ այն, որ պարարտ հողի վրայ է, նրանք են, որ բարի եւ զուարթագին սրտով լսելով խօսքը՝ ընդունում են այն եւ յարատեւելով պտուղ են տալիս»:

and these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Ճանապարհի եզերքին սերմանուածները այն մարդիկ են, որոնք լսում են խօսքը, եւ սատանան գալիս է եւ դուրս է հանում նրանց սրտերի մէջ սերմանուած խօսքը:
