Յակոբն առաւ խնկենու, ընկուզենու եւ սօսու դալար ճիւղեր, հանեց դրանց կեղեւը, եւ երեւաց սպիտակը: Գաւազաններից կանաչ մասը քերծելուց յետոյ գաւազանների քերծուած սպիտակը գունագեղ էր երեւում:

Իսկ վարձկանը, որ հովիւ չէ, եւ ոչխարներն էլ իրենը չեն, երբ տեսնում է, որ գայլը գալիս է, թողնում է ոչխարներին եւ փախչում է: Եւ գայլը յափշտակում է նրանց ու ցրում է.
