mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
ⲦⲀⲀⲠⲞⲖⲞⲄⲒⲀ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲞⲦϦⲈⲦ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲦⲈ.

this he said, signifying what death he should die.
ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈϤϮⲘⲎⲒⲚⲒ ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲀϢ ⲘⲘⲞⲨ ϤⲚⲀⲘⲞⲨ.

howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

but first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
ϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲆⲈ ϨⲰϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈϤϬⲒ ⲞⲨⲘⲎ ϢⲚϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϢⲞϢϤ ⲚϪⲈⲦⲀⲒⲄⲈⲚⲈⲀ.

greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

that thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our lord jesus christ:
ⲈⲐⲢⲈⲔⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲀϬ ⲚⲒ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲢⲒⲔⲒ ϢⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲪⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.

and beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
