and let not the owners of affluence and amplitude among you swear off from giving unto the kindred and the needy and the emigrants in the way of allah; let them pardon and overlook. love ye not that allah should forgive you and allah is forgiving, merciful.
இன்னும், உங்களில் (இறைவனின்) கொடை அருளப் பெற்றவர்களும், தக்க வசதி உடையவர்களும், உறவினர்களுக்கும் ஏழைகளுக்கும், (தம்மிடங்களை விட்டு) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் ஹிஜ்ரத் செய்தவர்களுக்கும் (எதுவும்) கொடுக்க முடியாது என்று சத்தியம் செய்ய வேண்டாம்; (அவர்கள் தவறு செய்திருப்பின்) அதை மன்னித்து (அதைப்) பொருட்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கவும்; அல்லாஹ் உங்களை மன்னிக்க வேண்டும் என்று நீங்கள் விரும்ப மாட்டீர்களா? மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (பிழை பொறுப்பவன்) மிக மன்னிப்பவன்; அன்பு மிக்கவன்.

and their prophet said unto them: verily allah hath raised unto you talut as a king. they said: how can there be the dominion for him over us, whereas we are more worthy of the dominion than he nor hath he been vouchsafed an amplitude of wealth! he said: verily allah hath chosen him over you and hath increased him amply in knowledge and physique, and allah vouchsafeth his dominion unto whomsoever he listeth; and allah is bountiful, knowing.
அவர்களுடைய நபி அவர்களிடம் "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தாலூத்தை உங்களுக்கு அரசனாக அனுப்பியிருக்கிறான்" என்று கூறினார்; (அதற்கு) அவர்கள், "எங்கள் மீது அவர் எப்படி அதிகாரம் செலுத்த முடியும்? அதிகாரம் செலுத்த அவரை விட நாங்கள் தாம் தகுதியுடையவர்கள்; மேலும், அவருக்குத் திரண்ட செல்வமும் கொடுக்கபடவில்லையே!" என்று கூறினார்கள்; அதற்கவர், "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களைவிட (மேலாக) அவரையே தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அறிவாற்றலிலும், உடல் வலிமையிலும் அவருக்கு அதிகமாக வழங்கியுள்ளான் - அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியோருக்குத் தன் (அரச) அதிகாரத்தை வழங்குகிறான்; இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் விசாலமான (கொடையுடைய)வன்; (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிபவன்" என்று கூறினார்.
