then he said to the one he deemed should be saved of the two, 'mention me in thy lord's presence.' but satan caused him to forget to mention him to his master, so that he continued in the prison for certain years.

and o listener (followers of this prophet) when you see those who argue in our verses, turn away from them until they engage in another topic; and if the devil causes you to forget, then do not sit with the unjust after remembering.

when you see those who are engaged in blasphemy against our signs, turn away from them until they begin to talk of other things; and should satan ever cause you to forget, then do not remain, after recollection, in the company of those wrong-doing people.

தூர் மலையை உங்கள் மேல் உயர்த்தி நாம் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த (தவ்ராத்)தை உறுதியுடன் பற்றிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; அதை செவியேற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். என்று உங்களிடம் நாம் வாக்குறுதி வாங்கினோம். (அதற்கு அவர்கள்) நாங்கள் செவியேற்றோம்; மேலும்(அதற்கு) மாறு செய்தோம் என்று கூறினார்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் நிராகரித்த காரணத்தினால் அவர்கள் இதயங்களில் காளைக்கன்றின் (பக்தி) புகட்டப்பட்டது. நீங்கள் முஃமின்களாக இருந்தால் உங்களுடைய ஈமான் எதை கட்டளையிடுகிறதோ அது மிகவும் கெட்டது என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.
