today i had my last day at work for the next three month. if you start thinking about this it is quite strange.

while walking down the street during my lunch hour at work today i came across this plant in the flower shop where i usually buy my orchids.
beim gehen hinunter die straße während meiner mittagessenstunde an der arbeit heute stieß ich auf diesen betrieb im blumegeschäft zufällig, in dem ich normalerweise meine orchideen kaufe.

today i marveled at the things that the internet allows me to do. i realized that i forgot to send the original file of a photo i had taken of earth, wind and fire to a friend who was invited to a meet and greet with the band. i was at work and the photo was on my external hard drive back at my apartment.
heute war ich erstaunt was ich alles mit dem internet machen kann. ich merkte dass ich vergass ein originalfoto das ich von earth wind and fire aufgenommen hatte, an einen freund zu senden der zu einem meet & greet mit der band eingeladen war. ich war bei der arbeit und das foto war auf meiner externen festplatte im apartment.

jetzt wollen wir uns einmal ansehen, was das für unsere zeit bedeuten kann. gibt es den finger gottes auch heute? ich sage: ja, auch heute greift der herr ein.

es ist die arbeit eines handwerkers. bei all der massenproduktion der maschinengefertigten dingen von heute, so denke ich, gibt es nur wenige dinge, die besser sind als zu beobachten, wie ein echter handwerker arbeitet: wirklich einen handwerker zu finden, einen altmodischen handwerker, mit seinem ursprünglichen hand-werk, nicht dem werk einer maschine.
