तुम तो अल्लाह से हटकर बस मूर्तियों को पूज रहे हो और झूठ घड़ रहे हो । तुम अल्लाह से हटकर जिनको पूजते हो वे तुम्हारे लिए रोज़ी का भी अधिकार नहीं रखते । अतः तुम अल्लाह ही के यहाँ रोज़ी तलाश करो और उसी की बन्दगी करो और उसके आभारी बनो । तुम्हें उसी की ओर लौटकर जाना है

prepare any strength you can muster against them , and any cavalry with which you can overawe god ' s enemy and your own enemy as well , and others besides them whom you do not know , but who are known to god . anything you spend in the way of god will be repaid to you in full . you will not be wronged .
और जो भी तुमसे हो सके , उनके लिए बल और बँधे घोड़े तैयार रखो , ताकि इसके द्वारा अल्लाह के शत्रुओं और अपने शत्रुओं और इनके अतिरिक्त उन दूसरे लोगों को भी भयभीत कर दो जिन्हें तुम नहीं जानते । अल्लाह उनको जानता है और अल्लाह के मार्ग में तुम जो कुछ भी ख़र्च करोगे , वह तुम्हें पूरा - पूरा चुका दिया जाएगा और तुम्हारे साथ कदापि अन्याय न होगा
