और जब लोगों को कोई मुसीबत छू भी गयी तो उसी की तरफ रुजू होकर अपने परवरदिगार को पुकारने लगते हैं फिर जब वह अपनी रहमत की लज्ज़त चखा देता है तो उन्हीं में से कुछ लोग अपने परवरदिगार के साथ शिर्क करने लगते हैं

and have forgotten yahweh your maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
और आकाश के ताननेवाले और पृथ्वी की नेव डालनेवाले अपने कर्ता यहोवा को भूल गया है, और जब द्रोही नाश करने को तैयार होता है तब उसकी जलजलाहट से दिन भर लगातार थरथराता है? परन्तु द्रोही की जलजलाहट कहां रही?
