for the period of 2008 to 2015, the focus of forest restoration was at bukit piton forest reserve (11,612 ha) and vjr merisuli (552 ha). most of the area were degraded and virtually devoid of tree cover. these area were classified as stratum 4 (very poor forest), secondary forest and oil palm, as the result of past conventional timber harvesting, repeated forest fire and, encroachment and illegal cultivation.
bagi tempoh 2008-2015, tumpuan pemulihan hutan adalah di bukit piton forest reserve (11,612 ha) dan vjr merisuli (552 ha). kebanyakan kawasan telah diturun taraf dan hampir devoid perlindungan pokok. kawasan ini telah diklasifikasikan sebagai 4 strata (hutan miskin), hutan sekunder dan kelapa sawit, sebagai hasil daripada pembalakan kayu lepas, diulang kebakaran hutan dan, pencerobohan dan penanaman yang menyalahi undang-undang.
