and we send down from the clouds water pouring forth abundantly,
އަދި ވާރޭވިލާތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އޮހިގެންއަންނަ ފެން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ.

a spring from which the servants of god will drink, making it gush abundantly.
އެއީ اللَّه ގެ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) އަޅުން އެއިން ބުއިމަށްވާ ފެންއާރެކެވެ. އެއުރެން ބޭނުންގޮތަކަށް އެއިން ފެންއަރުވާނެތެވެ.

a fountain at which the worshipers of allah drink and make it gush forth abundantly;
އެއީ اللَّه ގެ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) އަޅުން އެއިން ބުއިމަށްވާ ފެންއާރެކެވެ. އެއުރެން ބޭނުންގޮތަކަށް އެއިން ފެންއަރުވާނެތެވެ.

a spring wherefrom the slaves of allah will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly.
އެއީ اللَّه ގެ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) އަޅުން އެއިން ބުއިމަށްވާ ފެންއާރެކެވެ. އެއުރެން ބޭނުންގޮތަކަށް އެއިން ފެންއަރުވާނެތެވެ.

believers, when you meet an army stand firm and remember allah abundantly, in order that you are prosperous.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (كافر ންގެ ހަނގުރާމަވެރި) ބަޔަކާ ބައްދަލުވެއްޖެނަމަަ ސާބިތުވެ ތިބޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި ނަސީބު ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

in the messenger of allah you have a fine example for he who hopes for allah and the last day and remembers allah abundantly.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ رسول އާގެ ކިބައިގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ރިވެތިވެގެންވާ ނަމޫނާއެއްވެއެވެ. (އެއީ) اللَّه ގެ ދަރުމައާއި، آخرة ގެ ثواب އަށް އެދޭ، އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާ ކަމުގައިވާ މީހަކަށެވެ.

or that there be a garden of palms and vines for you and then you cause rivers to abundantly flow forth through them;
ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ކަދުރު ރުކާއި، މޭބިސްކަދުރުގެ ބަގީޗާއެއްއޮވެ، އޭގެ މެދުން ގިނަގުނަ ކޯރުތައް ހިންގަވައިދެއްވައިފުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ.

or thou have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth therein abundantly;
ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ކަދުރު ރުކާއި، މޭބިސްކަދުރުގެ ބަގީޗާއެއްއޮވެ، އޭގެ މެދުން ގިނަގުނަ ކޯރުތައް ހިންގަވައިދެއްވައިފުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ.

he will multiply it many times over. it is god who withholds, and god who gives abundantly, and it is to him that you shall all be returned.
ހެޔޮވެގެންވާ ދަރަންޏަކުން اللَّه އަށް ދަރަނި ދޭހުށީ (އެބަހީ: اللَّه އަށްޓަކައި ހޭދަކުރާހުށީ) ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ގިނަވެގެންވާ ގުނަތަކަކަށް، اللَّه، އެ ދަރަނީގެ ހެޔޮ ޖަޒާ އެމީހަކަށް އިތުރުކޮށް ދެއްވާނެތެވެ. رزق ދަތިކުރައްވަނީ، އަދި، ތަނަވަސްކުރައްވަނީވެސް اللَّه އެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެނބުރި رجوع ކުރައްވާހުށީ ހަމައެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

"or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly;
ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ކަދުރު ރުކާއި، މޭބިސްކަދުރުގެ ބަގީޗާއެއްއޮވެ، އޭގެ މެދުން ގިނަގުނަ ކޯރުތައް ހިންގަވައިދެއްވައިފުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ.

he is in complete control of heaven and earth; he gives abundantly to whoever he wills and gives sparingly to whoever he wills. he has full knowledge of all things.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ތަޅުދަނޑިތައް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި (އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްމެ މޮޅަށްދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

do not covet the bounties which god has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others. men shall be rewarded according to their deeds, and women shall be rewarded according to their deeds.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް އަނެއްބަޔަކު މާތްކުރައްވައި، މޮޅުކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނޭދޭށެވެ! ފިރިހެނުންނަށްވެސް، އެއުރެން ހޯދި ކަމެއްގެ ޖަޒާ ވެއެވެ. އަދި، އަންހެނުންނަށްވެސް، އެކަނބަލުން ހޯދި ކަމެއްގެ ޖަޒާ ވެއެވެ. އަދި، اللَّه ގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން، (ދެއްވުމަށް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދޭށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްމެެ މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

allah gives abundantly and sparingly to whom he will. they rejoice in this present life; but this present life, beside the everlasting life, is nothing but a passing enjoyment.
اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވައި، އަދި (އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމާމެދު އެއުރެން އުފާކުރޫއެވެ. އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމަކީ، آخرة ގެ ދިރިއުޅުމާ އަޅައިބަލާއިރު، ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ނުވެތެވެ.

allah draws a parable: there was a town secure and peaceful, its provision coming abundantly from every place. but it was ungrateful toward allah’s blessings.
އަމާންވެ، ހިތްހަމަޖެހިގެންވާ ރަށެއްގެ مثال ން، اللَّه مثال އެއް ޖެއްސެވިއެވެ. ކޮންމެ ދިމާޔަކުން ތަނަވަސްވެގެންވާ ގޮތުގައި، އެ ރަށަށް رزق އާދެތެވެ. ދެން اللَّه ގެ نعمة ތަކަށް އެ ރަށުގެ މީހުން كافر ވޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، ބަނޑުހައިހޫނުކަމާއި، ބިރުވެރިކަމުގެ ފޭރާންލައްވައި، އެކަމުގެ ރަހަ އެއުރެންނަށް اللَّه ދެއްކެވިއެވެ.
