therein every wise bidding
އެ ރޭ، ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ ކޮންމެކަމެއް ބަޔާންކުރައްވަތެވެ.

yet man declines to do his bidding.
ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެ އިންސާނާ އަދިވެސް، އެކަލާނގެ އޭނާޔަށް އަމުރުކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

and do not obey the bidding of the extravagant,
އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

no indeed! man has not accomplished his bidding.
ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެ އިންސާނާ އަދިވެސް، އެކަލާނގެ އޭނާޔަށް އަމުރުކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

determined as a bidding from us, (we are ever sending)
(އެއީ) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އައި أمر އެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، رسول ން ފޮނުއްވާ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

do not obey the bidding of those who are given to excesses,
އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

"and follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,-
އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންގެ أمر އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރި ނުވާށެވެ!

(bidding you): serve allah and keep your duty unto him and obey me,
(ވިދާޅުވަމުންނެވެ.) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަހުރެންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވާށެވެ!

and replied, "shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?"
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މޮޔަވެފައިވާ ޅެންވެރިޔެއްގެ ބަހަށް، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ތިމަންމެން ދޫކޮށްލާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and we subdued the strongly raging wind to solomon which blew at his bidding towards the land we blessed. we know everything.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، سليمان ގެފާނަށް ވައިރޯޅި ގަދަޔަށްޖެހޭ ގޮތުގައި (އެ) خدمة ތެރި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ބިމުގައި، بركات ލެއްވި ބިމަށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަމުރުފުޅަށް، އެ ވައިރޯޅި ހިނގައިދާގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޮންމެކަމެއް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

allah it is who has subjected the sea to you so that ships may sail upon it at his bidding and you may seek of his bounty and give thanks to him.
اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ކަނޑު خدمة ތެރިކުރެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. (އެއީ) އެކަލާނގެ أمر ފުޅަށް އެތާނގައި އުޅަނދުތައް ދުވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުން އެދިގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

such was aad. they disbelieved the verses of their lord, rebelled against his messengers, and did the bidding of every rebellious tyrant.
އެއީ عاد ބާގައިމީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން ދެކޮޅުހެދޫއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް އެއުރެން އުރެދުނޫއެވެ. އަދި ހަރުކަށި، ކޮންމެ جبّار (އަނިޔާވެރި) އެއްގެ أمر އަށް، އެއުރެން تبع ވޫއެވެ.

it will destroy everything at the bidding of its lord." so in the morning there was nothing but their empty dwellings to be seen.
އެ ވައި، އޭގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އަމުރުފުޅަށް ކޮންމެއެއްޗެއް ހަލާކުކޮށް ނެތިކޮށްލަތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އުޅުނު ތަންތަންމެނުވީ، ފެންނާންނެތްބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ވެއްޖައޫއެވެ. ކުށްވެރިވިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ޖަޒާދެއްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

and such were 'aad. they gainsaid the signs of their lord, and disobeyed his apostles, and followed the bidding of any tyrant froward.
އެއީ عاد ބާގައިމީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން ދެކޮޅުހެދޫއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް އެއުރެން އުރެދުނޫއެވެ. އަދި ހަރުކަށި، ކޮންމެ جبّار (އަނިޔާވެރި) އެއްގެ أمر އަށް، އެއުރެން تبع ވޫއެވެ.

believing in god and in the last day, bidding to honour and forbidding dishonour, vying one with the other in good works; those are of the righteous.
اللَّه އަށާއި، آخرة ދުވަހަށް އެއުރެން إيمان ވެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެން ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް أمر ކޮށް، ނުބައިކަންތައް ނަހީކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، ހެޔޮކަންތައް ކުރުމަށް އެއުރެން އަވަސްވެގަނެތެވެ. އެއުރެންވަނީ صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

and of his signs is that he sends winds to herald good tidings and that he may give you a taste of his mercy, and that ships may sail at his bidding, and you may seek his bounty and give thanks to him.
އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދެނިވި ގޮތުގައި، ވައިރޯޅި ފޮނުއްވާކަން އެއީ، އެކަލާނގެ ކުޅަދުންވަންތަކަމުގެ ހެކިތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ކަމެކެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ رحمة ގެ ރަހަ ދެއްކެވުމަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ أمر ފުޅަށް އުޅަނދުތައް ދުވުމަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދިގަތުމަށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and this was ad; they denied the communications of their lord, and disobeyed his apostles and followed the bidding of every insolent opposer (of truth).
އެއީ عاد ބާގައިމީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން ދެކޮޅުހެދޫއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް އެއުރެން އުރެދުނޫއެވެ. އަދި ހަރުކަށި، ކޮންމެ جبّار (އަނިޔާވެރި) އެއްގެ أمر އަށް، އެއުރެން تبع ވޫއެވެ.

he said, “exit from here, rejected, outcast; indeed whoever among them follows your bidding, i will fill hell with all of you.”
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. މަލާމާތް ލިބި، رحمة ން ދުރުކުރައްވާފައިވާ حال، ތިޔަތަނުން ކަލޭ ނުކުންނާށެވެ! އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލެޔަށް تبع ވީ މީހުންނާއި، ތިޔަ އެންމެން އަޅުއްވައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ނަރަކަ ފުރުއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

"what prevented you" (said god), "from bowing (before adam) at my bidding?" "i am better than him," said he.
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލެޔަށް أمر ކުރެއްވިހިނދު سجدة ކުރުން ކަލެޔަށް މަނާކުރީ ކޮންކަމެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެކަލޭގެ ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނަށްވުރެ ތިމަން މާމޮޅެވެ. އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިމަން ހެއްދެވީ އަލިފާނުންނެވެ. އަދި އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހެއްދެވީ މަށީންނެވެ.
