and this qur'an is such that it could not be composed by any unless it be revealed from allah. it is a confirmation of the revelation made before it and a detailed exposition of the book.
اللَّه ނޫންފަރާތަކުން ހަދައިގެން ގެންނަ އެއްޗަކަށް މި قرآن ނުވެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު (އެ قرآن ބާވައިލެއްވީ) އޭގެކުރީގައިވާ ފޮތްތައް ތެދުކުރުމަށާއި، ފޮތުގައިވާ حكم ތައް تفصيل ކޮށްދެއްވުމަށެވެ. އެ ފޮތާމެދު شك އެއް ނެތެވެ. (އެ ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވީ) عالم ތަކުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ންނެވެ.

fulfill the covenant of god when you have made one; and do not break your pledges after their confirmation. indeed you have made god your surety; for god knows all that you do.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް عهد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، އެ عهد ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފުއްދާށެވެ! އަދި ހުވާތައް ގަދަކޮށް، ކަށަވަރުކުރުމަށްފަހު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ ހުވާތައް އުވައިނުލާށެވެ! އެހެނީ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް، ހެކިވެ ޖާމިނުވެވޮޑިގެންވާ ފަރާތެއް ކަމުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލާފައިވެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ.

assuredly in their stories is a lesson for men of understanding. it is not a discourse fabricated, but a confirmation of that which went before it, and a detailing of everything, and a guidance and a mercy unto a people who believe.

and as a confirmation of (original) scripture and whoever is the enemy of god, his angels, his messenger, gabriel and michael, should know that god is the enemy of those who hide the truth..
اللَّه އާއި އެކަލާނގެ ملائكة ންނާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނާއި، جبريل ގެފާނާއި، ميكائيل ގެފާނަށް عداوة ތެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، كافر ންނަށް عداوة ތެރިވެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
