ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު، يتيم ކުއްޖާ ނިކަމެތިކޮށް ނުލައްވާށެވެ!

އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވުމެއް އަންނަހިނދު، نصر ލިބިގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ.

and kill them wherever you overtake them, and expel them from where they had expelled you. oppression is more serious than murder.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކުރާ މީހުން) ފެނުނު ކޮންމެ ތަނަކުން އެއުރެން قتل ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެރުނުތަނުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއުރެން ނެރޭށެވެ! އަދި قتل ކުރުމަށްވުރެ فتنة ވެރިކަމުގެ ނުބައިކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އަދި حرمة ތެރިވެގެންވާ މިސްކިތުގައި އެއުރެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކޮށްފުމަށް ދާނދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއުރެންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ނުކުރާށެވެ! އެއުރެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކޮށްފިނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވެސް (ހަނގުރާމަކޮށް) އެއުރެން قتل ކުރާށެވެ! كافر ންގެ ޖަޒާ ވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

and when we heard the guidance, we believed therein, and whoso believeth in his lord, he feareth neither loss nor oppression.
އަދި ތިމަންމެން ތެދުމަގުގެ އަޑު (އެބަހީ: قرآن ގެއަޑު) އެހިހިނދު، ތިމަންމެން އެއަށް إيمان ވެއްޖައީމުއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެމީހެއްގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް إيمان ވާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ދަރުމަ އުނިކުރައްވައިފާނެކަމަކަށް، އަދި އަނިޔާލިބިދާނެކަމަކަށް އެމީހާ ބިރެއްނުގަންނާނެތެވެ.

and you will see many of them rushing towards sin and oppression, and to devour the forbidden; undoubtedly what they do is extremely evil.
އަދި އޭގެތެރެއިން ގިނަމީހުން ފާފަވެރިވުމާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވުމާއި، حرام މުދާ ކެއުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަތަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

and none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of allah, the sinner!)
ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ، ފާފަކުރުންގިނަ ކޮންމެ މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އެދުވަސް ދޮގެއް ނުކުރާނެތެވެ.

and fight them until there is no oppression, and worship becomes devoted to god alone. but if they cease, then let there be no hostility except against the oppressors.
އަދި (دين އާ ދެކޮޅަށް އުފައްދާ) فتنة ވެރިކަން ނެތިއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން އަދި دين، اللَّه އަށް خالص ވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއުރެންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަން ހުއްޓާލައިފިނަމަ، އަނިޔާވެރިވާ ބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް މެނުވީ عداوة ތެރި ވުމެއް ނެތެވެ.

when we heard the [message of] guidance, we believed in it. whoever that has faith in his lord will fear neither privation nor oppression.
އަދި ތިމަންމެން ތެދުމަގުގެ އަޑު (އެބަހީ: قرآن ގެއަޑު) އެހިހިނދު، ތިމަންމެން އެއަށް إيمان ވެއްޖައީމުއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެމީހެއްގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް إيمان ވާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ދަރުމަ އުނިކުރައްވައިފާނެކަމަކަށް، އަދި އަނިޔާލިބިދާނެކަމަކަށް އެމީހާ ބިރެއްނުގަންނާނެތެވެ.

and fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that allah is strict in punishment.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފިތުނައަކަށް ބިރުވެތިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! އެ ފިތުނައައިސް ޖެހިދާހުށީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންނަށް އެކަންޏެއްނޫނެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، عقوبات ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

and fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.
އަދި (دين އާ ދެކޮޅަށް އުފައްދާ) فتنة ވެރިކަން ނެތިއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން އަދި دين، اللَّه އަށް خالص ވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއުރެންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަން ހުއްޓާލައިފިނަމަ، އަނިޔާވެރިވާ ބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް މެނުވީ عداوة ތެރި ވުމެއް ނެތެވެ.

and as for those who emigrated for the cause of allah, after suffering oppression, we will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the hereafter will be greater, if they but knew!
އެއުރެންނަށް އަނިޔާ ލިބުމަށްފަހު، اللَّه އަށްޓަކައި هجرة ކުޅަ މީހުންނަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ދުނިޔޭގައިވެސް އެއުރެން އުޅޭނޭ ރަނގަޅު ވަޒަން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ ދަރުމަ މާބޮޑެވެ. އެއުރެން (އެކަން) ދަންނަނަމައެވެ.

(saying) eat of the taiyibat (good lawful things) wherewith we have provided you, and commit no oppression therein, lest my anger should justly descend on you. and he on whom my anger descends, he is indeed perished.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި حلال ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅޭށެވެ! އެކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ނުދާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޯފާ އަތުވެދާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޯފާ އަތުވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކު ވެއްޓި ހަލާކުވެ ހިނގައްޖެއެވެ.
