therefor obey not thou the rejecters
ފަހެ، ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

woe on that day to the rejecters,
ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް އެދުވަހުން ގެއްލުމާއި ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ.

so do not yield to the rejecters.
ފަހެ، ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

but if he is of the rejecters, the erring,
އަދި ދޮގުކޮށް، މަގުފުރެދޭ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެމީހަކުވާނަމަ، ދަންނާށެވެ!

ah woe, that day, to the rejecters of truth!
ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް އެދުވަހުން ގެއްލުމާއި ހަލާކު ހުށްޓެވެ.

and most surely we know that some of you are rejecters.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ދޮގުކުރާ ބަޔަކުވާކަން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

and if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones,
އަދި ދޮގުކޮށް، މަގުފުރެދޭ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެމީހަކުވާނަމަ، ދަންނާށެވެ!

such will be the rejecters of allah, the doers of iniquity.
އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަ، ނުލަފާވެގެންވާ كافر ންނެވެ.

for the rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing fire.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ كافر ންނަށްޓަކައި ހިލިހިލާތަކާއި، ކަސްތޮޅުތަކާއި، އަނދައަނދާ ހުންނަ ނަރަކަ، ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

so we requited them. then see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters!
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެކިބައިން ބަދަލުހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންގެ ނިމުންވަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންކަން ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and leave me and the rejecters, the possessors of ease and plenty, and respite them a little.
އަދި ފައިސާވެރި، ދޮގުކުރާމީހުން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ދޫކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު ކުޑަވަގުތުކޮޅަކަށް އެއުރެންނަށް مهلة ދެއްވާށެވެ!

indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters.
(އެކިއެކި أمّة ތަކާމެދު) ހިނގައިދިޔަ ކަންތައްތަކެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން އިސްވެ ހިނގައްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރުފަތުރުކޮށް އުޅޭށެވެ! ދެން، ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުންގެ ނަތީޖާއޮތީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުންތޯ ނިކަން ބަލައިބަލާށެވެ!

say (unto the disbelievers): travel in the land, and see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters!
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރުފަތުރުކޮށް އުޅޭށެވެ! ދެން އެއަށްފަހު ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުންގެ ނަތީޖާ އޮތީ ކިހިނަކުންކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކޭށެވެ!

that was the requital we gave them because they ungratefully rejected faith: and never do we give (such) requital except to such as are ungrateful rejecters.
އެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވީ، އެއުރެން كافر ވުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. كافر ވާ މީހުންނަށް މެނުވީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެފަދަ ޖަޒާ ދެއްވަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

(the sentence will be:) "throw, throw into hell every contumacious rejecter (of allah)!-
(އެ ދެ ملائكة ންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) حق އާދެކޮޅުހަދާ، ގޮތްދޫނުކުރާ ކޮންމެ كافر އަކު ނަރަކަޔަށް އެއްލަވާށެވެ!
