오만했던 자들이 대답하여 말하길 우리 모두가 불지옥에 있 지 않느뇨 실로 하나님만이 그분 의 종들을 심판하시니라

has the [divine] message been revealed to him alone of all of us? no, he is a boastful liar."
우리중에서 그에게 계시가 내려졌단 알이뇨 아니라 그는 거짓하며 오만한 자라고 하였더라

thus do we try men through one another so that they may ask: "are these the ones of all of us who have been favoured by god?" does god not know who are the grateful?
그리하여 하나님은 그들의 무리를 다른 무리와 비유하여 시 험하였나니 이들이 우리보다 하 나님의 은혜를 더 받느뇨 하나님 은 감사하는 이들을 모르고 계신 단 말이뇨 라고 그들이 말하더라

among us some are muslims and some of us are perverse.” ’ those who submit [to allah]—it is they who pursue rectitude.
우리 중에 하나님께 귀의하 는 자 있고 이탈하는 자 있나니 귀의하는 자 누구든 올바른 길을 추구하노라

and that “among us some are muslims (those who have submitted to allah), and some of us are deviant. so those who became muslims found the right course;

so, go to him, and say: 'behold, both of us are the messengers of your lord. let the children of israel go with us, and do not chastise them. we have come to you with a sign from your lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance.
그러니 너희 둘은 그에게 가서 우리는 주님이 보낸 선지자라 그러니 우리와 함께 이스라엘 자 손들을 보내되 그들을 괴롭히지 말라 우리는 주님으로 부터 징표 를 가져 왔노라 복음을 따르는 자에게 평화가 있을 것이라
