quoniam ipse dominus in iussu et in voce archangeli et in tuba dei descendet de caelo et mortui qui in christo sunt resurgent prim
for the lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of god: and the dead in christ shall rise first:

et tertius angelus tuba cecinit et cecidit de caelo stella magna ardens tamquam facula et cecidit in tertiam partem fluminum et in fontes aquaru
and the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

nam et in hoc ingemescimus habitationem nostram quae de caelo est superindui cupiente
for in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

et dedisti eos in manu hostium suorum et adflixerunt eos et in tempore tribulationis suae clamaverunt ad te et tu de caelo audisti et secundum miserationes tuas multas dedisti eis salvatores qui salvaverunt eos de manu hostium suoru
therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
