the king answered and said to daniel, whose name was belteshazzar, art thou able to make known unto me the dream which i have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

dit is die droomgesig wat ek, koning nebukadnésar, gehad het; en jy, béltsasar, sê my die uitlegging, omdat al die wyse manne van my koninkryk my die uitlegging nie kon bekend maak nie; maar jy is daartoe in staat, want die gees van die heilige gode is in jou.
this dream i king nebuchadnezzar have seen. now thou, o belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
