በሌላ በኩል የኔ ትውልድ እርስ በእርሱ ተወዳዳሪ ነው ፡፡
it is a very able generation, full of dreamers and people with a lot of potential.

እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ ይህ ሁሉ በዚህ ትውልድ ላይ ይደርሳል።
verily i say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation.

እንግዲህ የዚችን ትውልድ ሰዎች በምን አስመስላቸዋለሁ? ማንንስ ይመስላሉ?
and the lord said, whereunto then shall i liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

አስቀድሞ ግን ብዙ መከራ እንዲቀበል ከዚህም ትውልድ እንዲጣል ይገባዋል።
but first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ ይህ ሁሉ እስኪሆን ድረስ ይህ ትውልድ አያልፍም።
verily i say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

በሁለተኛውም ዮሴፍ ለወንድሞቹ ታወቀ፥ የዮሴፍም ትውልድ በፈርዖን ዘንድ ተገለጠ።
and at the second time joseph was made known to his brethren; and joseph's kindred was made known unto pharaoh.

ሙሴስ ከቀደሙት ትውልድ ጀምሮ በሰንበት በሰንበት በምኵራቦቹ ሲያነቡ በየከተማው እርሱን የሚሰብኩ አሉት።
for moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

በመጥፎና በጠማማ ትውልድ መካከል ያለ ነቀፋ የዋሆችም ነውርም የሌለባቸው የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች እንድትሆኑ ሳታንጐራጉሩ ክፉም ሳታስቡ ሁሉን አድርጉ፤
do all things without murmurings and disputings:

ቡጢኛ አማጺዎች፣ ቀያይ ዘበኞች፣ አርበኛ አጋሰሶች፣ እያለ አንዱ ትውልድ ሌላኛውን ይተካል፡፡
boxer rebellion, red guards, patriotic thugs, one generation after other.

በመንፈሱም እጅግ ቃተተና። ይህ ትውልድ ስለ ምን ምልክት ይፈልጋል? እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ ለዚህ ትውልድ ምልክት አይሰጠውም አለ።
and he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily i say unto you, there shall no sign be given unto this generation.

ከአቤል ደም ጀምሮ በመሠዊያውና በቤተ መቅደስ መካከል እስከ ጠፋው እስከ ዘካርያስ ደም ድረስ፥ ከዚህ ትውልድ እንዲፈለግ አዎን እላችኋለሁ፥ ከዚህ ትውልድ ይፈለጋል።
from the blood of abel unto the blood of zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily i say unto you, it shall be required of this generation.

« ኑሕ ሆይ ! ከእኛ በሆነ ሰላም ባንተ ላይና አንተም ጋር ባሉት ሕዝቦች ( ትውልድ ) ላይ በሆኑ በረከቶችም የተጎናጸፍክ ሆነህ ውረድ ፡ ፡ ( ከእነሱው ዘሮች የሆኑ ) ሕዝቦችም በቅርቢቱ ዓለም በእርግጥ እናስመቻቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ከኛ የሆነ አሳማሚ ቅጣት ይነካቸዋል » ተባለ ፡ ፡
( and the lord ) said : " o noah , disembark with peace and safety from us and blessings on you and the people with you . as for some ( of them ) , we shall bestow advantages for a time , then send a grievous punishment on them . "
