સાતતાળ તેની જૈવિક વિવિધતા તેમજ પારીસ્થીતિક આયામ ને માટે બેજોડ છે.અહીના નિવાસી તેમજ પ્રવાસી પક્ષીઓ મળી ને કુલ ૫૦૦ પ્રજાતિઓ,સસ્તન વર્ગ ની ૨૦ પ્રજાતિઓ,પતંગિયાઓ ની ૫૨૫ થી વધારે પ્રજાતિઓ તેમજ ઉધઈ,ભમરાઓ અને અન્ય કીટકો ની ૧૧૦૦૦ થી ઓઅન વધારે પ્રજાતિઓ છે.વનસ્પતિઓ માં bryophytes, ઓર્કિડ,જુજ જોવા મળતા કલાઈમ્બીંગ છોડ, નાના છોડો,ઔષધીઓ વગેરે અલગ અલગ અને વિશાળ પ્રમાણ માં જોવા મળે છે. દરેક ઝીલ નો તેનો પોતાનો diatom આંક છે.આ પોષ્ટિકતા આધારિત diatom આંક ની રચના પાણી ની ગુણવત્તા અને પરિસ્થિતિ નું આકલન કરી ને કરવામાં આવે છે.
