އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން رسول އާއަށް مناجاة އެއް ދަންނަވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مناجاة ދެންނެވުމުގެ ކުރީގައި (فقير ންނަށް) صدقات އެއް ކުރިމަތިކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އެގޮތް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަންބޮޑެވެ. އަދި طاهر ކަންބޮޑުމެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް صدقات އެއް ކުރާނޭ އެއްޗެއް ނުލިބުނުނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and those who respond to their lord, and pray regularly, and conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and give of what we have provided them.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އިޖާބަދީ، އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކުރިމީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ކަންތައްތައް، އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައިވަނީ مشورة ގެ މަތިންނެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވިތަކެތިން، އެއުރެން ހޭދަކުރެތެވެ.

who have pledged their obedience to the lord, who are steadfast in prayer, who conduct their affairs with consultation among themselves, who spend for the cause of god out of what we have given them,
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އިޖާބަދީ، އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކުރިމީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ކަންތައްތައް، އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައިވަނީ مشورة ގެ މަތިންނެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވިތަކެތިން، އެއުރެން ހޭދަކުރެތެވެ.

and those who obeyed the command of their lord and kept the prayer established; and whose affairs are with mutual consultation; and who spend in our cause from what we have bestowed upon them.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އިޖާބަދީ، އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކުރިމީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ކަންތައްތައް، އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައިވަނީ مشورة ގެ މަތިންނެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވިތަކެތިން، އެއުރެން ހޭދަކުރެތެވެ.

and if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. and if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable.
މައިން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ދަރިންނަށް ކިރުދޭހުށީ، ފުރިހަމަ ދެއަހަރުގެ مدة އަށެވެ. އެއީ، ކިރުދިނުން ފުރިހަމަކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފި މީހަކަށެވެ. އަދި އެކަށީގެންވާ ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކާންދިނުމާއި، އަންނައުނުދިނުން އެއީ، (ކުއްޖާގެ) ބަފާގެ މައްޗަށް ވާޖިބުވެގެންވާ ކަމެކެވެ. އެއްވެސް نفس އަކަށް، އެ نفس އަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެންވާ މިންވަރަކަށް މެނުވީ، تكليف އެއް ނުޖައްސަވަތެވެ. މައިމީހާއަށް، އެކަނބުލޭގެ ދަރީގެ ސަބަބުން ގެއްލުމެއް ދީގެން ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި، ބަފަޔަކަށްވެސް، އޭނާގެ ދަރީގެ ސަބަބުން ގެއްލުމެއް ދީގެން ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި، (ކުއްޖާގެ ބަފާގެ މައްޗަށް لازم ވީ ކަންތައް) ވާރުތަވެރިޔާގެ މައްޗަށްވެސް އެފަދައިން لازم ވެގެންވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ރުހުމާއި، مشورة އާއެކު (ދެއަހަރު ހަމަވުމުގެ ކުރީގައި) ކިރުދިނުން ހުއްޓާލަން قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، (އެކަމުގައި) އެ ދެމީހުންގެ މައްޗަަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަށް އެހެން މީހަކު ލައްވާ ކިރުދިނުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދޭންޖެހޭ އުޖޫރައެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދެނީނަމަ، (އެކަމުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ބައްލަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

are you afraid to offer a freewill offering before your consultation? but if you do not, allah will turn to you again, then establish the prayer and pay theobligatory charity, and be obedient to allah and his messenger.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން رسول އާއަށް مناجاة އެއް ދެންނެވުމުގެކުރިން صدقات އެއް ކުރިމަތިކުރުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިރުގަތީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަންތައް ނުކުރެވުނުހިނދު، އަދި اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް توبة ލައްވައިފިހިނދު، ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި زكاة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންވާށެވެ! اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and mothers shall breast-feed their children for two full years – for those who wish to complete the term of milk feeding; and the father of the child must provide for food and clothing of the mother in accordance with custom; no one will be burdened except with what he can bear; a mother should not be harmed because of her child, nor he to whom the child is born be harmed because of his child (or a mother should not harm the child nor he to whom the child is born should harm the child); and the same is incumbent on the guardian in place of the father; then if the parents desire to wean the child by mutual consent and consultation, it is no sin for them; and if you wish to give your children out to a (milk feeding) nurse, it is no sin for you, provided you pay to them what is agreed, with kindness; and keep fearing allah, and know well that allah is seeing what you do.
މައިން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ދަރިންނަށް ކިރުދޭހުށީ، ފުރިހަމަ ދެއަހަރުގެ مدة އަށެވެ. އެއީ، ކިރުދިނުން ފުރިހަމަކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފި މީހަކަށެވެ. އަދި އެކަށީގެންވާ ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކާންދިނުމާއި، އަންނައުނުދިނުން އެއީ، (ކުއްޖާގެ) ބަފާގެ މައްޗަށް ވާޖިބުވެގެންވާ ކަމެކެވެ. އެއްވެސް نفس އަކަށް، އެ نفس އަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެންވާ މިންވަރަކަށް މެނުވީ، تكليف އެއް ނުޖައްސަވަތެވެ. މައިމީހާއަށް، އެކަނބުލޭގެ ދަރީގެ ސަބަބުން ގެއްލުމެއް ދީގެން ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި، ބަފަޔަކަށްވެސް، އޭނާގެ ދަރީގެ ސަބަބުން ގެއްލުމެއް ދީގެން ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި، (ކުއްޖާގެ ބަފާގެ މައްޗަށް لازم ވީ ކަންތައް) ވާރުތަވެރިޔާގެ މައްޗަށްވެސް އެފަދައިން لازم ވެގެންވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ރުހުމާއި، مشورة އާއެކު (ދެއަހަރު ހަމަވުމުގެ ކުރީގައި) ކިރުދިނުން ހުއްޓާލަން قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، (އެކަމުގައި) އެ ދެމީހުންގެ މައްޗަަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަށް އެހެން މީހަކު ލައްވާ ކިރުދިނުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދޭންޖެހޭ އުޖޫރައެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދެނީނަމަ، (އެކަމުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ބައްލަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!
