and leave what your lord has created for you of your wives? nay, you are a people exceeding limits.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހައްދަވައި (حلال ކުރައްވައި) ފައިވާ އަނބިން ދޫކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ނުބައިކަންތަކުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.

and they disobeyed the messenger of their lord, so he seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވި رسول އާއަށް އެއުރެން އުރެދުނޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލާނގެ ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب ގެ ހިއްޕެވުމަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕެވިއެވެ.

and you will see many of them striving with one another to hasten in sin and exceeding the limits, and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired; certainly evil is that which they do.
އަދި އޭގެތެރެއިން ގިނަމީހުން ފާފަވެރިވުމާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވުމާއި، حرام މުދާ ކެއުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަތަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

ފަހެ، އެ ދެފަހަރުންކުރެ ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރުގެ وعد ފުޅު އައިހިނދު، ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ބާރެއްގެވެރި އަޅުންތަކެއް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ރަށުގެ) ގޯތިގެދޮރުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ވަދެގެންދިޔައޫއެވެ. އަދި ފުރިހަމަވެގެންވާ وعد ފުޅެއްކަމުގައި، އެ وعد ފުޅު ވިއެވެ.

and we decreed for the children of israel in the book: 'you shall do corruption in the earth twice, and you shall ascend exceeding high.'

and endure thy self in the company of those who call upon their lord in the morning and evening seeking his and let not thine eyes countenance rove from them seeking the adornment of the life of this world, and obey thou not him whose heart we have made to neglect our remembrance, and who followeth his lust, and whose affair is exceeding the bound.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ وجه ފުޅު އެދިގެން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު دعاء ކޮށް އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންނާއެކު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ نفس ހިފަހައްޓަވައި، ކެތްކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން އެދިވަޑައިގެން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ލޯފުޅު، އެއުރެން ފިޔަވައި ފަހަނަޅައި ދިޔަނުދެއްވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުރުމުން، އެމީހެއްގެ ހިތް غافل ކުރައްވައި، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމަށް تبع ވެ، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ ކަންތައް (ނުބައިކަމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ މީހަކަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެ ވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

allah has forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and the flesh of swine; also any animal over which the name of any other than allah has been pronounced. but whoever eats of them under compelling necessity - neither desiring it nor exceeding the limit of absolute necessity - surely for such action allah is much forgiving, most merciful.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، އެކަލާނގެ حرام ކުރައްވާފައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، މުޅަތަކެއްޗާއި، ލެޔާއި، އޫރުމަހާއި، اللَّه ފިޔަވައި އެހެން ފަރާތެއްގެ ނަންގަނެ ކަތިލާ ތަކެއްޗެވެ. ފަހެ، ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވެ، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވުމެއް އަދި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދިއުމެއް ނެތި، مجبور ވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
