if the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်အား သင်သည်ငှက်သကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ် နေရာ တောင်ပေါ်သို့ ပြေးချေဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့် ပြောကြသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါခိုလှုံရာဖြစ်တော် မူ၏။

i came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

and abraham drew near, and said, wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
ထိုအခါ အာဗြဟံချဉ်းကပ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့ကို၊ မတရားသော သူတို့နှင့်တကွ ဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူမည်လော။

for the lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့၏ လမ်းကို ထာဝရဘုရားကျွမ်းတော်မူ၏။ မတရားသော သူတို့၏ လမ်းသည်ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်သတည်း။

a righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် မတရားသောသူရှေ့ တွင် မှားယွင်းလျှင်၊ နောက်သောရေကန်၊ ပုပ်သောစမ်း ရေတွင်းနှင့်တူ၏။

behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသော်လည်း မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ အပြစ်ဒဏ်ကို ခံရ၏။ မတရားသောသူနှင့် အပြစ် ထင်ရှားသောသူကိုမူကား၊ အဘယ်ဆိုဘွယ်ရာ ရှိသနည်း။

and he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
ကိုယ်ကုသိုလ်ကို အမှီပြု၍ သူတပါးကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုတတ်သောသူအချို့တို့အား မိန့်တော်မူသော ဥပမာကား၊

little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
ချစ်သားတို့၊ သင်တို့ကို အဘယ်သူမျှ မလှည့်ဖြားစေနှင့်။ အကြင်သူသည် ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရားကို ကျင့်၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ဖြောင့်မတ်တော်မူသည်နည်းတူ၊ ထိုသူသည်ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းရှိ၏။

cast thy burden upon the lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
ထမ်းရွက်ရသောဝန်ကို ထာဝရဘုရား၌ ချထား လော့။ သင့်ကို မစတော်မူမည်။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူကို အစဉ်အမြဲလှုပ်ရှားစေတော်မမူရာ။

and he said to david, thou art more righteous than i: for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas i have rewarded thee evil.
တဖန်လည်း၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ထက်သာ၍ တရားစောင့်၏။ သင့်အကျိုးကို ငါဖျက်သော်လည်း၊ သင်သည် ငါ၌ အကျိုးကျေးဇူးပြုပြီ။
