ዓድ መልክተኞችን አስተባበለች ፡ ፡

ዓድ መልክተኞችን አስተባበለች ፡ ፡

« ይህ የሰው ቃል እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ »

and no friend will ask [ anything of ] a friend ,
ዘመድም ዘመድን በማይጠይቅበት ቀን ፤ ( መላሽ የለውም ) ፡ ፡

nor the word of a soothsayer ; little do you remember .
የጠንቋይም ቃል አይደለም ፡ ፡ ጥቂትን ብቻ ታስታውሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ጫወታና ዛዛታ ብቻ ናት ፡ ፡ ብታምኑም ብትጠነቀቁም ምንዳዎቻችሁን ይሰጣችኋል ፡ ፡ ገንዘቦቻችሁንም ( ሁሉ ) አይጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡

this life of the world is but a pastime and a game . lo ! the home of the hereafter - that is life , if they but knew .
ይህችም የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መታለያና ጨዋታ እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር እርሷ በእርግጥ የዘላለም ሕይወት አገር ናት ፡ ፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ ፤ ( ጠፊይቱን ሕይወት አይመርጡም ነበር ) ፡ ፡

never forget that the life of this world is only a game and a passing delight , a show , and mutual boasting and trying to outrival each other in riches and children . it is like the growth of vegetation after the rain , which delights the planter , but which then withers away , turns yellow and becomes worthless stubble .
ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ጨዋታና ዛዛታ ፣ ማጌጫም ፣ በመካከላችሁም መፎካከሪያ ፣ በገንዘቦችና በልጆችም ብዛት መበላለጫ ብቻ መኾንዋን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ( እርሷ ) በቃዩ ገበሬዎችን እንደሚያስደስት ዝናም ፣ ከዚያም በቃዩ እንደሚደርቅና ገርጥቶ እንደምታየው ፣ ከዚያም የተሰባበረ እንደሚኾን ብጤ ናት ፣ በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ብርቱ ቅጣት ከአላህም ምሕረትና ውዴታ አልለ ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት የመታለያ ጥቅም እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡

allah will surely try you with a game which will be within the range of your hands and lances so that he might mark out those who fear him , even though he is beyond the reach of human perception . a painful chastisement awaits whosoever transgresses after that the bounds set by allah .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ( በሐጅ ጊዜ ) እጆቻችሁና ጦሮቻችሁ በሚያገኙት ታዳኝ አውሬ አላህ ይሞክራችኋል ፡ ፡ በሩቅ ኾኖ የሚፈራውን ሰው አላህ ሊገልጽ ( ይሞክራችኋል ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በኋላ ወሰንን ያለፈና ያደነ ሰው ለርሱ አሳማሚ ቅጣት አለው ፡ ፡
