በእነሱም ( በሕዝቦችህ ) ላይ የኢብራሂምን ወሬ አንብብላቸው ፡ ፡

burn in it on account of your disbelieving .
ትክዱ በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ዛሬ ግቧት ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

we have kept account of everything in a book .
ነገሩንም ሁሉ የተጻፈ ሲኾን አጠቃለልነው ፡ ፡

did you receive the account of the enveloper ?
የሸፋኝቱ ( ትንሣኤ ) ወሬ መጣህን ?

if we had the account of earlier people with us ,
« ከቀድሞዎቹ ( መጻሕፍት ) ገሳጭ መጽሐፍ እኛ ዘንድ በነበረን ኖሮ ፤

enter it this day on account of your denial of the truth . "
ትክዱ በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ዛሬ ግቧት ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

saying : surely we feared before on account of our families :
« እኛ ፊት በቤተሰቦቻችን ውስጥ ( ከቅጣት ) ፈሪዎች ነበርን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

indeed i knew that i will encounter my account [ of deeds ] . ’
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

" read your scroll ; this day you suffice to take account of yourself . "
« መጽሐፍህን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ባንተ ላይ ተቆጣጣሪነት በነፍስህ በቃ » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

these their dwelling — is the fire — on account of what they used to do .
እነዚያ ይሠሩት በነበሩት ምክንያት መኖሪያቸው በእሳት ውስጥ ነው ፡ ፡

but on account of mercy from your lord-- surely his grace to you is abundant .
ግን ከጌታህ በኾነው እዝነት ( ጠበቅነው ) ፡ ፡ ችሮታው ባንተ ላይ ታላቅ ነውና ፡ ፤

[ this is ] an account of your lord s mercy ’ on his servant , zechariah ,
( ይህ ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን በችሮታው ያወሳበት ነው ፡ ፡

it is only for my lord to take account of them . would that you made use of your understanding !
« ምርመራቸው በጌታዬ ላይ እንጅ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ብታውቁ ኖሮ ( ይህንን ትርረዱ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

a people before you indeed asked such questions , and then became disbelievers on account of them .
ከናንተም በፊት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ጠየቋት ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በእርሷ ( ምክንያት ) ከሓዲዎች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

has there not come to you the account of the contenders , when they scaled the wall into the sanctuary ?
የተከራካሪዎቹም ወሬ መጥቶልሃልን ? ምኩራቡን በተንጠላጠሉ ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and recite in the book the account of moses . he was a chosen one , a messenger , a prophet .
በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ሙሳንም አውሳ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ምርጥ ነበርና ፡ ፡ መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር ፡ ፡

and they will never invoke it on account of what their hands have sent before , and allah knows the unjust .
እጆቻቸውም ባሳለፉት ( በሠሩት ) ምክንያት ምን ጊዜም ፈጽሞ አይመኙትም ፤ አላህም በዳዮችን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

that is an account of some towns which we recount to you . of them some are still standing and some have been mown down .
ይህ ( የተነገረው ) ከከተሞቹ ወሬዎች ነው ፡ ፡ ባንተ ላይ እንተርከዋለን ፡ ፡ ከእርሷ ፋናው የቀረና ሙሉ በሙሉ የተደመሰሰ አለ ፡ ፡

and recite in the book the account of ishmael . he was ever true to his promise , and was a messenger , a prophet .
በመጽሐፉ ኢስማዒልንም አውሳ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ቀጠሮን አክባሪ ነበረና ፡ ፡ መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር ፡ ፡

and indeed we have sent down towards you clear verses , and some account of those who preceded you , and advice for the pious .
ወደእናንተም አብራሪ የኾኑን አንቀጾች ከእነዚያ ከበፊታችሁ ካለፉትም ( ምሳሌዎች ዓይነት ) ምሳሌን ለጥንቁቆቹ መገሰጫንም በእርግጥ አወረድን ፡ ፡
