say thou : allah delivereth you therefrom and from every pain , yet ye thereafter associate .
አላህ ከሷና ከጭንቅም ሁሉ ያድናችኋል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እናንተ ታጋራላችሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : allah delivereth you from this and from all affliction . yet ye attribute partners unto him .
አላህ ከሷና ከጭንቅም ሁሉ ያድናችኋል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እናንተ ታጋራላችሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

and allah delivereth those who ward off ( evil ) because of their deserts . evil toucheth them not , nor do they grieve .
እነዚያንም የተጠነቀቁትን በማግኛቸው ስፍራ ኾነው አላህ ያድናቸዋል ፡ ፡ ክፉ ነገር አይነካቸውም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አያዝኑም ፡ ፡

and when a wave covereth them like awnings , they call upon allah , making their religion pure for him . then when he delivereth them on the land , only some of them keep to the middle course .
እንደ ጥላዎችም የሆነ ማዕበል በሸፈናቸው ጊዜ አላህን ሃይማኖትን ለእርሱ ብቻ ያጠሩ ሆነው ይጠሩታል ፡ ፡ ወደ የብስም ባዳናቸው ጊዜ ከእነሱ ትክክለኛም አልለ ፡ ፡ ( ከእነርሱም የሚክድ አለ ) ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቻችንም አታላይ ከዳተኛ ሁሉ እንጂ ሌላው አይክድም ፡ ፡

say " it is allah that delivereth you from these and all ( other ) distresses : and yet ye worship false gods ! "
አላህ ከሷና ከጭንቅም ሁሉ ያድናችኋል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እናንተ ታጋራላችሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

say thou : who delivereth you from the darknesses of the land and the sea , when ye cry unto him in humility and in secrecy : if he delivered us from this , we shall surely be of the thankful ?
ከየብስና ከባሕር ጨለማዎች በግልጽና በምስጢር የምትጠሩት ስትኾኑ « ከነዚህ ቢያድነን በእርግጥ ከአመስጋኞች እንኾናለን ( ስትሉ ) የሚያድናችሁ ማነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

but when he delivereth them , behold ! they transgress insolently through the earth in defiance of right ! o mankind ! your insolence is against your own souls , - an enjoyment of the life of the present : in the end , to us is your return , and we shall show you the truth of all that ye did .
በአዳናቸውም ጊዜ እነሱ ወዲያውኑ ያለ አግባብ በምድር ላይ ወሰን ያልፋሉ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ ! ወሰን ማለፋችሁ ( ጥፋቱ ) በነፍሶቻችሁ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መጠቀሚያ ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም መመለሻችሁ ወደኛ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትንም ሁሉ እንነግራችኋለን ፡ ፡
