abraham was of the same faith :
ኢብራሂምም በእርግጥ ከተከታዮቹ ነው ፡ ፡

one lord, one faith, one baptism,
አንድ ጌታ አንድ ሃይማኖት አንዲት ጥምቀት፤

say : o ye that reject faith !
በላቸው « እናንተ ከሓዲዎች ሆይ !

ግን አስተባበለ ፤ ( ከእምነት ) ዞረም ፡ ፡

በከሓዲዎች ላይ ገር ያልኾነ ነው ፡ ፡

( እነሱም ) እነዚያ ያመኑትና ይፈሩት የነበሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡

ያችንም ለከሓዲዎች የተደገሰችውን እሳት ተጠንቀቁ ፡ ፡

god advises you never to do such things again if you have any faith .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

allah advises you never to speak like this again , if you have faith .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

o you who have faith ! be wary of allah , and speak upright words .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ትክክለኛንም ንግግር ተናገሩ ፡ ፡

say , " it is god i serve , sincere in my faith in him alone --
አላህን « ሃይማኖቴን ለእርሱ ያጠራሁ ኾኜ እግገዛዋለሁ » በል ፡ ፡

allah has promised those who have faith and do righteous deeds forgiveness and a great reward .
እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና በጎ ሥራዎችን የሠሩትን አላህ ( ገነትን ) ተስፋ አደረገላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ ምሕረትና ታላቅ ምንዳ አላቸው ፡ ፡

allah shall surely ascertain those who have faith , and he shall surely ascertain the hypocrites .
አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን በእርግጥ ያውቃል ፡ ፡ መናፍቆቹንም ያውቃል ፡ ፡
