i hate you
በአማርኛ እጠላሃለሁ

marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ዓለም ቢጠላችሁ አትደነቁ።

but i trust in the lord that i also myself shall come shortly.
ራሴ ደግሞ ግን ፈጥኜ እንድመጣ በጌታ ታምኜአለሁ።

as thou hast sent me into the world, even so have i also sent them into the world.
ወደ ዓለም እንደ ላክኸኝ እንዲሁ እኔ ወደ ዓለም ላክኋቸው፤

he who hates you is the loser .
ጠይህ ( የሚጠላህ ) እርሱ በእርግጥ ( ዘሩ ) የተቆረጠው ነው ፡ ፡

“ then i also told them publicly and also spoke to them softly in private . ”
« ከዚያም እኔ ለእነርሱ ገለጽኩ ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም መመስጠርን መሰጠርኩ

whoever hates you will himself remain childless .
ጠይህ ( የሚጠላህ ) እርሱ በእርግጥ ( ዘሩ ) የተቆረጠው ነው ፡ ፡

it is the one who hates you who has been cut off .
ጠይህ ( የሚጠላህ ) እርሱ በእርግጥ ( ዘሩ ) የተቆረጠው ነው ፡ ፡

and jesus answered and said unto them, i also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, i in like wise will tell you by what authority i do these things.
ኢየሱስም መልሶ። እኔ ደግሞ አንዲት ነገር እጠይቃችኋለሁ፤ እናንተም ያችን ብትነግሩኝ እኔ ደግሞ እነዚህን በምን ሥልጣን እንዳደርግ እነግራችኋለሁ፤

እኔ ደግሞ የተቀበልሁትን ከሁሉ በፊት አሳልፌ ሰጠኋችሁ እንዲህ ብዬ። መጽሐፍ እንደሚል ክርስቶስ ስለ ኃጢአታችን ሞተ፥ ተቀበረም፥

እኔ ደግሞ ድል እንደ ነሣሁ ከአባቴም ጋር በዙፋኑ ላይ እንደተቀመጥሁ፥ ድል ለነሣው ከእኔ ጋር በዙፋኔ ላይ ይቀመጥ ዘንድ እሰጠዋለሁ።

የሰማዕትህንም የእስጢፋኖስን ደም ባፈሰሱ ጊዜ፥ ራሴ ደግሞ በአጠገባቸው ስቆም ተስማምቼ የገዳዮችን ልብስ እጠብቅ ነበር አልሁ።
