is it lawful for us to give tribute unto caesar, or no?
ለቄሣር ግብር ልንሰጥ ተፈቅዶአልን? ወይስ አልተፈቀደም? አሉት።

eat from the pure and lawful things that god has given to you . have fear of god in whom you believe .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

but now use such of the spoils as are lawful and good , and fear god , for god is forgiving and kind .
( ከጠላት ) ከዘረፋችሁትም ( ሀብት ) የተፈቀደ መልካም ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

eat of the lawful and good things with which allah has provided you . have fear of allah in whom you believe .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

and eat of that wherewith allah hath provided you as lawful and clean ; and fear allah in whom ye are believers .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

and eat of the lawful and good things god has provided for you ; and be conscious of god , in whom you are believers .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

and partake of the lawful , good things which allah has provided you as sustenance , and refrain from disobeying allah in whom you believe .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

believers , do not forbid the good things that allah has made lawful to you . do not transgress ; allah does not love the transgressors .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህ ለናንተ የፈቀደላችሁን ጣፋጮች እርም አታድርጉ ፡ ፡ ወሰንንም አትለፉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

and eat of what allah has provided for you [ which is ] lawful and good . and fear allah , in whom you are believers .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

( people ) , consume the pure and lawful sustenance which god has given to you and thank god for his bounty if you are his true worshippers .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ንጹሕ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ የአላህንም ጸጋ እርሱን የምትገዙት ብትሆኑ አመስግኑ ፡ ፡

allah has certainly made lawful for you the dissolution of your oaths , and allah is your master and he is the all-knowing , the all-wise .
አላህ ለእናንተ የመሓሎቻችሁን መፍቻ ደነገገላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ረዳታችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ዐዋቂው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

avail yourselves of the spoils you have taken as lawful and good , and be wary of allah . indeed allah is all-forgiving , all-merciful .
( ከጠላት ) ከዘረፋችሁትም ( ሀብት ) የተፈቀደ መልካም ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

( unbelievers ) , do not follow whatever your lying tongues may tell you is lawful or unlawful to invent lies against god . those who invent lies against god will have no happiness .
በአላህም ላይ ውሸትን ልትቀጣጥፉ ምላሶቻችሁ በሚመጥኑት ውሸት « ይህ የተፈቀደ ነው ፤ ይህም እርም ነው » አትበሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን የሚቀጣጥፉ አይድኑም ፡ ፡

and eat of the lawful and good ( things ) that allah has given you , and be careful of ( your duty to ) allah , in whom you believe .
አላህም ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ የተፈቀደ ጣፋጭ ሲኾን ብሉ ፡ ፡ ያንንም እናንተ በርሱ አማኞች የኾናችሁበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

" ' ( i have come to you ) , to attest the law which was before me . and to make lawful to you part of what was ( before ) forbidden to you ; i have come to you with a sign from your lord .
« ከተውራትም ከእኔ በፊት ያለውን ያረጋገጥሁ ስኾን የዚያንም በእናንተ ላይ እርም የተደረገውን ከፊል ለእናንተ እፈቅድ ዘንድ ( መጣኋችሁ ) ከጌታችሁም በኾነ ታምር መጣሁዋችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፤ ታዘዙኝም ፡ ፡ »
