why then , if you are not revived ,
የማትዳኙም ከኾናችሁ ፡ ፡

then we revived you after your death , so that you may be appreciative .
ከዚያም ታመሰግኑ ዘንድ ከሞታችሁ በኋላ አስነሳናችሁ ፡ ፡

then we revived you after your death that perhaps you would be grateful .
ከዚያም ታመሰግኑ ዘንድ ከሞታችሁ በኋላ አስነሳናችሁ ፡ ፡

evidence ( of the truth ) for them is how we revived the dead earth
የሞተችውም ምድር ለእነርሱ ምልክት ናት ! ሕያው አደረግናት ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም ፍሬን አወጣን ፤ ከርሱም ይበላሉ ፡ ፡

' there is nothing but our first death ; we shall not be revived .
እርሷ የፊተኛይቱ ሞታችን እንጅ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ እኛም የምንቀሰቀስ አይደለንም ፡ ፡

' there is nothing except the first death , we shall never be revived .
እርሷ የፊተኛይቱ ሞታችን እንጅ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ እኛም የምንቀሰቀስ አይደለንም ፡ ፡

and thereafter we revived them to find out which of the two parties could best calculate the length of their stay .
ከዚያም ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች ለቆዩት ጊዜ ልክ ያረጋገጠው ማንኛው መሆኑን ልናውቅ አስነሳናቸው ፡ ፡

and who sent down water from the sky with a proper measure , so we revived a dead city with it ; this is how you will be taken out .
ያም ከሰማያ ውሃን በልክ ያወረደላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሞተችውን አገር ሕያው አደረግን ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከመቃብራችሁ ) ትውወጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

look at the traces of the mercy of god , how he has revived the dead earth . god revives the dead ; he has power over all things .
ምድርንም ከሞተች በኋላ እንዴት ሕያው እንደሚያደርጋት ወደ አላህ ችሮታ ፈለጎች ተመልከት ፡ ፡ ይህ ( አድራጊ ) ሙታንንም በእርግጥ ሕያው አድራጊ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡

and who sent down out of heaven water in measure ; and we revived thereby a land that was dead ; even so you shall be brought forth ;
ያም ከሰማያ ውሃን በልክ ያወረደላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሞተችውን አገር ሕያው አደረግን ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከመቃብራችሁ ) ትውወጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

and in the alternation of the night and day , in the provision allah sends down from heaven with which the earth is revived after its death , and in the changing about of the winds , there are signs for people who understand .
በሌሊትና መዓልት መተካካትም ፣ ከሲሳይም ( ከዝናም ) አላህ ከሰማይ ባወረደው በርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው በማድረጉ ፣ ነፋሶችንም ( በያቅጣጫቸው ) በማዘዋወሩ ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች ማስረጃዎች አልሉ ፡ ፡

he who sent down water from the sky in a determined measure , and thereby we revived a dead land : likewise will you be raised up ( from the earth ) --
ያም ከሰማያ ውሃን በልክ ያወረደላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሞተችውን አገር ሕያው አደረግን ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከመቃብራችሁ ) ትውወጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

and allah sent down water from the sky and with it revived the earth after its death ; indeed in this is a sign for people who keep ears * . ( * that listen to the truth . )
አላህም ከሰማይ ውሃን አወረደ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው አደረገ ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚሰሙ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምር አልለ ፡ ፡
