ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

in pillars stretched forth .
በተዘረጋች አዕማድ ውስጥ ( የተዘጋች ናት ) ፡ ፡

when the earth is stretched out
ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

and when the earth is stretched ,
ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

and when the earth is stretched out
ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

and when the earth is stretched forth ,
ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

and when the earth shall be stretched forth .
ምድርም በተለጠጠች ጊዜ ፤

and the earth ! - thereafter he stretched it out .
ምድርንም ከዚህ በኋላ ዘረጋት ፡ ፡

and by the earth and by him who stretched it out ;
በምድሪቱም በዘረጋትም ፤

and we stretched towards heaven , but we found it filled with terrible guards and meteors .
‹ እኛም ሰማይን ( ለመድረስ ) ፈለግን ፡ ፡ ብርቱ ጠባቂዎችንና ችቦዎችንም ተሞልታ አገኘናት ፡ ፡

we stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and we made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ጋራዎችን ጣልንባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ከሚያስደስት ዓይነት ሁሉ አበቀልን ፡ ፡

and the earth ! we have stretched it forth beneath ; an excellent spreader are we !
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ ምን ያማርንም ዘርጊዎች ( ነን ! )

but to israel he saith, all day long i have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
ስለ እስራኤል ግን። ቀኑን ሁሉ ወደማይታዘዝና ወደሚቃወም ሕዝብ እጆቼን ዘረጋሁ ይላል።

and the earth ! we have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm , and we have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed .

and the earth -- we stretched it forth , and cast on it firm mountains , and we caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed ,
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ኮረብታዎችን ጣልናባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ( የተለካን ) በቃይ ሁሉ አበቀልንባት ፡ ፡

we made them turn right and left , while their dog lay with his forelegs stretched across the threshold . if you had looked at them you would have surely turned away and fled with horror at the sight .
እነሱም የተኙ ሆነው ሳሉ ( ዓይኖቻቸው በመከፈታቸው ) ንቁዎች ናቸው ብለህ ታስባቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ወደ ቀኝ ጎንና ወደ ግራ ጎንም እናገላብጣቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ውሻቸውም ሁለት ክንዶቹን በዋሻው በር ላይ ዘርግቷል ፡ ፡ በእነሱ ላይ ዘልቀህ ብታይ ኖሮ የምትሸሽ ኾነህ በዞርክ ነበር ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በእርግጥ ፍርሃትን በተመላህ ነበር ፡ ፡

we turned them about to the right and to the left , while their dog stretched its paws at the entrance . had you seen them you would surely have become filled with terror and turned your back on them in flight .
እነሱም የተኙ ሆነው ሳሉ ( ዓይኖቻቸው በመከፈታቸው ) ንቁዎች ናቸው ብለህ ታስባቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ወደ ቀኝ ጎንና ወደ ግራ ጎንም እናገላብጣቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ውሻቸውም ሁለት ክንዶቹን በዋሻው በር ላይ ዘርግቷል ፡ ፡ በእነሱ ላይ ዘልቀህ ብታይ ኖሮ የምትሸሽ ኾነህ በዞርክ ነበር ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በእርግጥ ፍርሃትን በተመላህ ነበር ፡ ፡

what are they waiting for , except that allah ’ s punishment should come through stretched clouds and the angels descend and the matter be finished ? and all matters are directed only towards allah .
አላህ ( ቅጣቱ ) ና መላእክቱ ከደመና በኾኑ ጥላዎች ውስጥ ሊመጡዋቸው እንጂ አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ተፈጸመ ፤ ነገሮችም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡
