final year students of uin ar-raniry are classified as in the exploration stage, final year students who have been able to explore the careers they are interested in are indicative of individuals who have career maturity. one of the things that affects career maturity is internal locus of control. the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between internal locus of control and career maturity in final year students of uin ar-raniry banda aceh. the approach in this study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. the sampling technique used proportional statified random sampling technique. the population in this study were all final year students of uin ar-raniry banda aceh, totaling 7,847 with a sample of 334 students. the instruments used in this study are the internal locus of control scale compiled from the aspects proposed by lefcourt (2001) and the career maturity scale based on aspects of super (sharf, 2013). the hypothesis testing technique used is product moment analysis, which shows a correlation coefficient of 0.738 with p = 0.00 which indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between internal locus of control and career maturity. the results obtained that internal locus of control has an effective contribution of 54.4% to career maturity, and 45.6% is influenced by other factors. translated with www.deepl.com/translator (free version)
mahasiwa tingkat akhir uin ar-raniry tergolong pada tahap eksplorasi, mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang telah mampu mengeksplorasi karir yang mereka minati merupakan indikasi dari individu yang memiliki kematangan karir. salah satu yang mempengaruhi kematangan karir adalah locus of control internal. tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control internal dengan kematangan karir pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir uin ar-raniry banda aceh. pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional statified random sampling. populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh mahasiswa tingkat akhir uin ar-raniry banda aceh yang berjumlah 7.847 dengan sampel sebanyak 334 mahasiswa. instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala locus of control internal yang disusun dari aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh lefcourt (2001) dan skala kematangan karir berdasarkan aspek-aspek dari super (sharf, 2013). teknik uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu analisis product moment yang, menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,738 dengan p=0,00 yang menandakan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara locus of control internal dengan kematangan karir. hasil yang didapat bahwa locus of control internal memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 54,4% terhadap kematangan karir, dan 45,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.
