but i beseech you the rather to do this, that i may be restored to you the sooner.

grace to you, and peace, from god our father and the lord jesus christ.

but i determined this with myself, that i would not come again to you in heaviness.
ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀⲒϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘⲐⲢⲒⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ.

finally, my brethren, rejoice in the lord. to write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

for as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ϮⲆⲒⲀⲔⲞⲚⲒⲀ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ ⲞⲨϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ.

and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the lord jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈϤϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈϤϪⲞⲘ.

but i will come to you shortly, if the lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
ⲈⲒⲈⲒ ⲆⲈ ϨⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲬⲰⲖⲈⲘ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲈⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲒⲈⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϬⲒⲤⲒ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ.

give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. for with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
ⲘⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲈϤⲘⲈϨ ⲈϤϨⲈⲚϨⲰⲚ ⲈϤⲪⲈⲚⲪⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲔⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲠⲒϢⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀⲨⲚⲀϢⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.

therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

for what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that i myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.
ⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲢⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲠⲀⲢⲀ ⲠⲤⲈⲠⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲘⲠⲒϨⲢⲞϢ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲬⲀ ⲠⲀⲒϬⲒⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.

and beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
