the movie struck me so much that it gave me a broader understanding on becoming a public health worker. to give us a little background, mulanay is a film about a professional doctor (dr. ria espinosa) who could have followed her dreams and have a better future abroad but rather chose to follow her heart and render her service in the city province. because of this, i admired her humility and compassion for the community and even the time and the knowledge that she imparted them. indeed, the movie
indeed, the movie became an eye- opener for me due to the fact that it made me realize that it is not the amount of salary you receive that matters but the relationship you’ve built in your community and your heart for those who’s in need of your service. since, the film made a great impact to me; i do not want to be selfish about it.
